Bar snacks from AbracadaBar at Disney’s BoardWalk

When you’re on vacation at Walt Disney World you may be on the hunt for somewhere to relax and grab a snack or a drink. One of the coolest places to do that is at AbracadaBar at Disney’s BoardWalk.

AbracadaBar

This lounge is located between Trattoria al Forno and Flying Fish on the BoardWalk. It opens in the afternoon, as most lounges do, and typically stays open a bit later. Currently the parks close pretty early, so finding somewhere to hangout after a park day is a must. This is an easy walk over from Epcot’s World Showcase or the Skyliner if you’re staying at a resort linked to that.

AbracadaBar

AbracadaBar is a magician themed lounge, it has a very Hollywood Tower Hotel vibe to it too. They’re mostly known for their cocktails, but they also now have my new favorite french fries on Disney property.

The Abra Fries are vegan when you order them without parmesan or aioli. This ends up having them just be truffle fries, and there is nothing wrong with that. The portion of these are very large.

The fries themselves tasted great. They had plenty of truffle oil on them, were very crispy, and salted perfectly. When I said they have my new favorite fries, I am telling the truth. I will be going back here to just eat fries.

We had expected to get the Margherita Flatbread without cheese, but were very excited when our server told us they had vegan cheese. She had said they had vegan ricotta, but when it came out we had to ask what kind of cheese it was because it didn’t look like ricotta.

As we had guessed, it was Follow Your Heart Mozzarella shreds. They were melted perfectly and made the flatbread very good. The crust on the flatbread was delicious, and there was plenty of fresh basil on it too. It says on the menu that it has crushed tomatoes, but we didn’t notice much more than the sauce.

We weren’t expecting to enjoy our food here as much as we did. I am so glad we came here for this though because this is such a cool spot and the food is delicious. Also if you drink alcohol, they have very great (and strong) creative cocktails. I definitely recommend heading here on your next trip!

Also want to note: be sure to check the menu online for how long the kitchen is open for food if you plan on going later.

Back in 2014 I created Vegan Disney World after going to Walt Disney World several times and finding no resource for vegan options. Corey and I began this blog from our trips and have now moved closer to the mouse to eat around the parks on a weekly basis. Since the blog started we have cruised on Disney Cruise Line, gone to Tokyo Disneyland and to Disneyland in California!
