A very presentable copy, clean and clear throughout, apart from some light browning and toning towards page edges, commensurate with age. Some occasional, very faint spots of foxing. Complete with all plates and illustrations well-preserved. Some inscriptions by a previous owner inside title page and to rear of fold-out frontispiece. Cover illustrations and marbled page edges are a little browned, but remain largely very attractive. Some occasional small creases and folds to page corners, but no major signs of wear.
