Inscribed to renowned flamenco dancer and choreographer Sara de Luis, and her husband, Roger Hagan. Although born in New Orleans, maestra de Luis spent much of her career in Spain where she studied and mastered not just flamenco, but regionales and escuela bolera. Her performances and choreography enhanced stage productions the world-over, including the Seattle Opera. A photographer, several collections of Roger Hagan's photos were published by major publishing firms; at the behest of Stimson Bullitt, Hagan was recruited to run KING TV's short-lived film division, King Screen Productions, producer of the superb comedy The Plot Against Harry. The book at hand is a detailed photo survey and history of the Guadalajara neoclassical landmark opened in 1866. Production sponsored by the Gobierno de Jalisco, Secretaría de Cultura.
