[nice clean book with minimal wear; the jacket shows some wear along the spine, with a few tiny nicks and some very shallow chipping along the top edge]. (color photographs; pen and ink drawings) Thoroughly-illustrated recipes, presented in both English and Thai. Is this book a "classic" in its genre? I don't really know -- but at least I can say that it's from an era before there was a Thai restaurant on every other block in American cities (and darn few at all outside urban areas); it was written by two Thai ladies with impeccable credentials (one came from "a family of superb cooks," and was married to a prince, to boot); and it was published in Bangkok. True, it might not be as "modern" as when originally published, but great food is timeless, am I right? ****NOTE that additional postage charges will be assessed for international shipping of this moderately heavy book; if this concerns you, please contact us for a shipping quote before placing your order.****.
