A Huge Park to Learn About the History and the Nature of the Higashi-Mikawa Region All While Having Plenty of Fun!

With abundant greenery surrounding all the area, this park is a place where visitors can feel the history and the vibrant local nature. Expanding on the vast area, there's the "Mikawa Asobi Yado" (Mikawa Playground Lodge) themed on the Shukuba Town of the Old Tokaido Route, then the "Shukei Garden," with flora that tells the history of the local vegetation and the cultural history of Higashi Mikawa, along with the "Mikawa Land Valley" biotope of native plants and the "Mikawasan Yasoen" (Mikawa Mountains Wild Herbs Garden) with several wild grasses and herbs. The Picnic Playground offers a nice resting place, and the Azaleas Observation Deck a fun destination for a relaxing stroll.
