I remember going to Nordstrom's when it was in the Galleria after a hard Day's work because the service was so good. They just treated me nice. And I needed someone to be nice to me. I worked at a bank where most of the customers were elderly,. When I was hired the manager told me that for many of the customers a visit to the place was their  only trip for the day and that we were to make their experience a good one. I think customer service is underrated these days.
