It will be easier to hire people with experience because of widespread use. That said, I don’t use any of them because of cost. Lots of add ons to buy, license renewals etc.  I use Grass Valley’s Edius software for video editing. Two reasons- I already had many years experience with this at my former job and a one time purchase. $700 price and perpetual transferable license with tech support and updates. Also it is very powerful program with nearly unlimited layers of video and graphics and audio tracks. Jane Wilson,  Janey Lynn Studio

No. Okay here's the long answer. Listing agents take their own photos of the property 95% of the time. This is because 95% of the properties are average single family homes. A few more successful agents use a professional photographer most or all of the time but that's not real common. The exception is for high end properties. There is a beautiful estate near me with a huge stone mansion that has something like 20 rooms and is extremely top end. The professional photographer took stunning pictures of the house including drone video of the land outside and the interior of the house. The rooms are large enough to fly a drone inside for stunning video. This is then all produced into a 5 to 7 minute music video with small unobtrusive titles to describe each scene. But when you're asking $2,800,000 go the extra mile.  (this is the type of photography I do) So target the agents who sell who sell end properties.

A lead is a cold call. They don't know you so you must be ready with a scripted intro. Telemarketing. A referral comes from a mutual acquaintance. Friend or current client. Easier with friendlier script but still scripted. (more) A lead is a cold call. They don't know you so you must be ready with a scripted intro. Telemarketing. The first is “where are you from.“ perhaps you’re from nearby or perhaps you have visited their hometown or you know someone from there. But if there are no degrees of connection you could simply continue by asking questions about what it’s like there. “Do you like it there better than here or do you like here better than there.” Talking with the senator inthis way we both discovered that we had a childhood connection. We lived just one block apart.

Unfortunately some small business owners feel they have no choice but to take a lowball offer just to stay afloat. They feel that at least they'll get their name out there and hopefully draw in new clients. Although the new client will also want the lowball price and in no time you can't stay in the black. To maintain that low bid you'll have to skimp on quality of materials and service. Then your reputation suffers. Just set your best price and stick with it.
