About Us
I am a second generation luthier and repairman, having learned the trade from my father Wallace. My other 'hat' has been full time traveling musician and teacher. I'm entering my 35th year in this field.
The repair business started, for me, as a part time endeavor to offset my income in winter months when the gigging season was the slowest. Over the years the business continued to expand. It eventually became my full time job with gigging and teaching moving to part time.
How We Got Started
The business started as a apprentiship unde my fathers name and at age 20 I opened my own shop.
