Classes are taught by Sensei Chris Reymann a 2nd degree blackbelt under Master Renzo Gracie and coach John Danaher. An active competitor, great coach who speaks both English and Portuguese fluently.
Come learn the Gentle art as the Brazilians call it "Arte Suave". We will track your movements & coach you to make sure that your performance is at an optimal level. We teach both Gi and No-Gi Brazilian Jiujitsu.
What is a Gi? A Gi is an abbreviation for the word Kimono which is thick heavy uniform that is worn during training. The Gi is used for gripping and opponent to gain control. It acts as a force multiplier which gives more leverage and can level the playing field against a stronger opponent.
Our Dojo has 1,000 square ft. of Tatame mats, we have 8 private units each with their own shower, toilet and sink. Towel & lockers are available for use as well. We also offer GI rental and laundry services. We are equipped with two Grappling dummies for high impact throws, take downs and technical work. We also have crash pads. We are also equipped with speed jump ropes, battle ropes, agility ladders, hand weights, TRX, tons of boxing & Mma gloves, Muay Thai striking pads, boxing focus mitts and sparring protective gears as well.
