Our Range is Private and used for 4-H, Wildlife Hunter Education Teams, JROTC and other Youth Programs only. Our 4-H Shooting Sports Club, The Davie County 4-H Shooting Sports Clubis Open to all Youth ages 8-18. Members may compete from Age 9 to 18 based on their age on January 1st of the competition year. 4-H Regional, and State Competitions as well as a National Championship in Smallbore Rifle, Smallbore Pistol, Shotgun/Clay Target Sports, Archery, Air Rifle, Air Pistol and Hunting Skills. 4-H Regional and State Shooting Sports Tournaments are in August and September respectively and the 4-H Hunting Skills Tournament is in January. Many of our members are also on Hunter Education Teams and we Sponsor A Scholastic Clay Target Program Team with SSSF, with Free membership for all 4-H Members. If you have a child between the ages of 8-18 with an interest in Shooting Sports or Hunting Skills, we are your source!
Tom Cowden Youth Shooting Sports or TCYSS is a Non-Profit Organization that Promotes Positive Youth Development through Shooting Sports, Firearms Safety, Hunter Education and Skill Development. TCYSS Supports the Davie County 4-H Shooting Sports Club, TCYSS Scholastic Shooting Sports Foundation SCTP Team, The NC 4-H National Hunting Skills Team as well as provides Summer 4-H Day Camps and works with other Area Youth Organizations I'm the areas of Firearms Safety and Instruction.
