What are your price ranges for tux/suit rentals?

Our designers start at $199.00 - $249.00. If your fiancé purchased a gown through our boutique, we offer upgraded savings for each member. We also offer an ABT special discount for groups, single rentals and if your wedding party has 5 or more complete paid rentals, the groom's is free! Shoes and upgraded accessories are additional. Do you have suits for purchase? 

​

Yes we do! We offer many styles such as a hunter/emerald green suit , slate blue suit, sage green suit, and a tan suit. We also have a rent or buy program where most of our rental selection is available for purchase. Purchased coat and pants start at only $300.00.

What are your requirements to reserve a rental?

 

All customers who are renting must have a credit/debit card on file. This will not be charged unless the rental is returned late or if there are missing/damaged items. An initial payment of $100 must be placed at the time of measurements. This acts as a payment toward your balance due.

What fits and styles do you offer in rentals?

​

We offer a variety of fits including; ultra slim, slim fit, modern fit, and traditional fit based on which tux/suit you choose. Most styles size from 3T up to a 68R. We can accommodate big and tall and children. Jim's Formalwear provides beautiful colors such as black, navy, light grey, charcoal, tan, burgundy, and more! We are proud to offer size inclusive options for everyone in your party!

Do you accommodate out of state wedding attendants?

​

Absolutely. All members of the wedding party are welcome to order with us by submitting their measurements by calling the shop at 303-422-4007. There tuxes will be ready for pick up 1-3 days prior to the wedding at our boutique.

What is your time frame for ordering tuxes/suits rentals?

​

We recommend registering and choosing your attire for your party at least 3-5 months prior to the event date. Once the bride has her dress it's never too early to start taking a look at what the men will wear. This allows plenty of time for your wedding party to make appointments to come in and be fitted, or to call us to submit their order.

We need to have all deposits and measurements submitted at least

1-3 months prior for rentals. If you have a last minute single/prom rental, we need at least 10 business days (weekends not included)  to get a last minute rental in with a $35 rush fee, styles and sizes may be limited.

How long can I keep my rental?

​

Our normal rental period is 1 weekend, with the rental due back on Monday by the end of business. It will arrive at our store anywhere from 1-3 days prior to your event. For mid week rentals it would be due back the very next day. If you are traveling and need to extend your rental time frame, we can accommodate that for you for a fee. Anyone can return your rental during normal business hours.

What if I have a last minute rental?

​

We need at least need 2 weeks (10 business days, weekends not included) before your event to get in your items and there is a $35 rush fee. We will do our best to accommodate you and get you in the suit rental or tux rental that you want quickly!

When do the tux/suits arrive for my event?

​

Rentals arrive the week of your event, typically 1-3 days prior. This still gives us plenty of time for any alterations or replacements that may be needed. It is very important to make a try-on appointment as soon as you are notified of it's arrival. Each individual renter will receive a text message when their items arrive and it is their responsibility to make time to try on and pick up to guarantee the fit. Appointments are required for try on and pick up. Unfortunately we cannot guarantee the fit if they try on the day before the wedding or were not measured at Amanda's. 

Retail items generally arrive 1-2 weeks after ordering if it's in stock.

What if I am having a destination wedding?

​

We can definitely accommodate out of town weddings! We can arrange for your rentals to arrive 1-3 days before you leave town, and set up a different day for your return for a fee depending on the time frame you are needing it for. This will still allow us time for any adjustments that may be needed. We also have retail options that might be a little less in price rather than extending the time you keep a rental garment. Just give us a call and we will get you in the best deal!

Will I need alterations/replacements?

​

Even with professional measurements, alterations and replacements are common in rentals. This is because these are standard rental garments and not custom tailored suits, and all bodies change frequently and fit differently. We do our best to order the best standard sizes based on measurements, but last minute adjustments and replacements are very common when renting. Our staff is fully trained on coat and pant length alterations and can typically complete this while you wait.

Replacement re-orders typically takes 2 days depending on the time-frame that you come in. We cannot guarantee overnight deliveries or Saturday deliveries.

If you purchase your suit or tuxedo, it will most always need some tailoring to give you a perfect fit to your body, so plan ahead to ensure you have plenty of time.
