This is a good rubber strip expansion joint filler. It came in a roll. I got the 10' x 3/4" size. I probably could have gotten the 1" instead of the 3/4". The expansion joint you see in my pics is 1" wide but I wanted to make sure it would fit. This rubber strip replaces a rotted wood filler and it looks great!

I really like this trial set. Made it easy to see I needed the 3/4 inch. My only feedback is why does every company who makes this product not offer a 16 ft length? For those of us doing a double garage only - the 15 ft is too short and we are spending extra for 25 feet when it’s 9 feet too long! Come on - this is common sense. Skip the 15 ft and offer a 16 ft for the same price. I think sales will increase substantially!

After we converted our home to force air heat/AC, we were left with a bunch of gaps left from the old baseboard heater, I decide to give this 1/2 inch rubber backer rod joint filler a try. After using it, I can say that it's a game changer in crack repair. The size works for filling in medium-large sized cracks, providing about the right amount of material to seal the gap effectively without being overly bulky. The rubber material seems durable and is flexible, allowing it to expand and contract with temperature changes without cracking or crumbling. It is quick and easy to use, without having the need to mix and precise application like the traditional crack fillers, but rather just simply push it into the crack using a putty knife or similar tool. The rubber material provides great adhesion to either concrete, wood, etc., ensuring long lasting repair.

This is such a better solution than what we used to do. We used to put styrofoam tubes in the gap between our sidewalk and the house and then spend hundreds of dollars in caulk trying to fill it which looked messy and only lasted a season or two.
