No visible damage to the box so I suspect it must have been damaged at the Amazon warehouse and was packed and shipped that way. These are great tasting, and have been my favorites for years. The added vegetable oil seems to keep the fish from becoming overly dry, which I find to be a problem for me with brands of canned fish that do not add oil.
My most recent shipment was carelessly packaged by Amazon. It was in an overly large box along with two cases of smaller cans. There was no padding inside the box. One of the other cases dented some of the cans badly enough that there was oil dripping from the box.
In the future I'll order these by themselves, which should reduce the odds of the cans being damaged.

Best damn fish I have had in quite some time. Nice size can of fish that will somewhat fill your empty hole when you need a quick bite to eat. CAUTION ; These are fishy and if you dribble down your chin or spill, you will draw in every cat nearby and the possibility of getting mauled by a pack of cats could get very real. Oh, and if you have a mustache and beard like I do, forget about getting near wifey slips until you do a full face shampooing. A bit pricey but damn they go good with German Beer. I will buy again..BON APPETITO, CHEERS!!
