I really thought they were excellent.

Their price was good and they were very thorough. The guy who came in was so helpful in making me understand the garage door system. They are the best company that I have ever used for garage doors. I would rate them high overall. I would definitely use them again the future.

Lavallee had done some minor garage door repairs over the years for me and installed my garage door opener. They provided the best estimate for the type of garage door I wanted to have installed. The saleman was professional and knowledgeable and had samples to review which helped with my decision-making. When I awarded them the job, I provided a 50% deposit and was told they were scheduling about two weeks out. After three weeks I called to inquire about the installation and the very next day they scheduled an install appointment for later that same week. The installer arrived on-time, was professional and experienced. All they do is install and repair garage doors so they know what they are doing. He said it would take about two hours to dismantle the old door and install the new one which is about what it took. The installer reviewed the mechanics of the new garage door with me, reminded me about the 90 day warranty if needed, and overall was very polite and cleaned up everything when he completed the job. I will continue to use Lavallee for all my garage door needs and would recommend them to anyone.

The garage door broke, trapping my car inside the garage. Contatced Lavallee, who promised that they could have someone come right over and open the door so I could get to work. Three calls later, they finally made it over. There was an excuse on how one of their employees was out. They couldn't get in-touch with another one that was late becuase they did not let their employees use cell phones. If this was mentioned at the start, I could have made other arrangements. I elected to have Lavallee replace the garage door with a new one. I had alerted them to the fact that the garage floor was curved - the original wooden door had been cut to fit the cruvature of the floor. I had been told not to worry as they could take care of it. Needless to say, when the garage door was installed, there was one corner where the seal did not make contact with the garage floor, allowing water in when there were heavy rains. This water would develop into ice on the garage floor during winter - not a safe condition. When I conatced them, the salesman who originally told me no problem, told me there was nothing more he could do and to use concrete to level the floor. If the salesman said he might have an issue, I would have gone a different route. Finally, the installer had an issue with the garage door opener when he was doing the job and couldn't test the opener. The issue was my problem, but I had notified Lavallee to call me at work if they had any issues. I work 5 minutes from my house and could have been there quickly. I was notified later in the day after the installer left. Again, they do not trust their installers enough to use cell phones and could not contact me until he got back to the office

Very well. The technician was on time and was extremely detailed in his explanations. He also offered tips for other maintenance and provided general information regarding the life of the motor and replacement costs.

OVERALL, THIS COMPANY'S WORK PERFORMANCE WAS EXCELLENT. I WAS VERY PLEASED WITH THEIR WORK AND I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM. THEIR STAFF WAS VERY FRIENDLY AND WERE THE EXACT PEOPLE FOR THE JOB.

THEY CAME OUT THE NEXT DAY AFTER I CALLED THEM AND FIXED THE DOOR SO I COULD USE IT. THERE WERE SOME DELAYS. THEY NEEDED TO REPLACE A SPRING AND IT TOOK THEM TWO WEEKS TO GET THE PART AND COME. THEY WERE VERY, VERY POLITE.
