Great work. Fast and very professional

Jose listened to my request and helped me select design and materials to accomplish it. He was professional and did a great job! I’d definitely recommend him to anyone.

I claimed a deal for up to 4 hours of handyman service for $199.00. Jose Henriquez came to see the job and said he could do it. We set up a time for the service to be performed and he never showed up or called. I called him, he gave an excuse and set up another time. Again he was a no show and never called me.

Jose was a "no show" for handyman services we scheduled for 8:30 am today. Like the previous reviewer (6/3/21), I have not received a call from him (2 1/2 hours later.) Such a waste of my day and time. I guess the $199 deal he advertises, is not really a deal. I definitely would not hire or recommend his services.

The DC Handyman was never responsive. Contacted them twice, and still no response although they advertised for these services. If they are unable to respond to "deals" they post. Chances are the services are not ideal. I will not hire going forward.

Mr. Jose did an excellent job. He was on time, fastidious and helpful in advising me on work on my back porch repairs.

This project went great. Jose sent a worker over, Johnathan. Johnathan arrived on time, explained the best way to do my various tasks and then got to work. He ran into a couple of issues based on my home setup that we couldn't see until he opened my wall. He was able to do a nice workaround without any problems. I am very pleased with his work and knowledge and plan to hire again for a few other projects.

I hired DC Handyman to fix some closet doors and to do some touch-up painting and Yonatan did a great job! I've tried other handyman services in the area with little success in finding quality service and a fair price. I received both from DC Handyman, quality work at a fair price. I would definitely recommend them.

Painting and locksmith services performed

I was very pleased. Contractor was on time, cleaned up after the repair. Everything was smooth and the slow, clogged drain was repaired and the results were very good.

In the showers there was grout that was starting to come loose and he just put caulking over the grout. I could have done that myself. I asked him about paint in my stairwell. He told I could not just paint over it so he sanded the paint off my wall without asking me. Then he caulked between two wood planks in my floor. The boards are now pulling up where he caulked. I can see that the boards are now separating. I tried to pull the caulk out and it is making it separate and rise. It seems like the caulk is very hard almost like cement

Jose and his employees are excellent workers, talented and respond to input.

No one showed up and I have not heard from Jose since he confirmed my appointment via text message two weeks ago.

The service went great! I was very pleased, they came out the same day that I called. The price was affordable and that they did a really great job. They took the hardware down and then replaced it with the new hardware.

Overall the day with DC Handyman was largely frustrating and a battle to get things accomplished well. While I could go on and on in great detail about a number of disappointments and inadequacies, including not even finishing the work hired to do, I will focus this claim on the most egregious of all. DC Handyman was hired to replace a bathroom sink and vanity. Yesterday the entire trap under the sink fell off due to improper installation, creating a huge leak and water damage to my brand new vanity. The emergency required me to hire another plumber to fix the shoddy work that DC Handyman did, incurring an additional emergency expense.

Contractor never showed. I had to perform all the needed repairs myself.

It was okay, they did a good job. They sent two guy instead of one.
