Five stars for Florida Coastal Contractors, with special shouts out to Elijah, my design and sales consultant; the incredibly hard-working, polite and super efficient group of men who form the work crew; and to Jessica and Shane the management staff. Wow, what an impressive group of consummate professionals with a hefty dose of custom hardscaping expertise. I now, for sure, have the most beautiful and properly installed concrete paver patio design in my community, if not in St Augustine (lol, okay maybe not the entire St Augustine). Kudos Florida Coastal Contractors, and thank you for serving our community.

This transaction was extremely difficult due to inadequate office staff and customer service. The workmanship is very good and I have no complaints about the quality or services provided by installers.

I was worried because they were running a little late, and the crew arrived about 1:00 PM with a 3-man crew. They all just went to work. Everybody knew their job. They worked fast and got it done in about 5 hours. Just to be sure that the job would finish on time, a second crew showed up for the last hour and wrapped it up in time for a holiday weekend. And to top it off, I had asked that if they had an opening before the holiday I would appreciate being moved up. They did and the workmanship was exceptional.

Due to a previous contractors inferior work, my 3 year old wall and patio was collapsing. This team came in and explained what was wrong and completely rebuilt the structure properly, documenting the procedure throughout the process. Thank you Jim

After obtaining six quotes, Florida Coastal Contractors was my choice and was the correct decision. The process starts with Shane, who is a colorful personality, and makes you feel comfortable with something you have no clue about as a consumer. After listening to what you are interested in, he takes a can of orange paint and creates a visual for you to have perspective what this may look like as it is outlined on the ground. Next up is Wellington, who is the foreperson of the hardscape crew. It is amazing hard hard these guys work as they completed in 36 hours what would probably take most a week. Finally, the electrician connected all of the lights and put in the transformer. The pergola was constructed in three phases. First, the hardscape was constructed in a day with the two end support beams; then Jason stains the existing beams and returns later with the remainder of the pergola constructed off site and completes it in 4 hours; finally, the electrician connects the electricity to the pergola with a GIF for lights and installed a fan in 4 hours. This is an amazing organization is who consumer friendly, provides a competitive price and a product you will be proud of as a homeowner.

Wanted to share the great job Florida Coastal Contractor did on transitioning my back yard from a boring area to a back yard oasis. I vetted about 7 different contractors and was most impressed with FCC. Every contractor that came out seemed to be in a rush and really did not spend much time going over what I wanted. They took measurements and then got back to me with an estimate on average about a week later. Shane, the owner of FCC came by and we went over all my ideas and wants for my back yard transformation and then we went inside, sat down and Shane drew up a sketch of the project on paper and provided me an estimate right there! He even came back a second time when I wanted to make the patio bigger and add in the step down gas fire pit. FCC was not the cheapest, but also not the most expensive, but I can say they were the most professional and their employees were outstanding. No subs were used as every part of the project was done by FCC. Truly a one stop shop as they demoed and prepped the back yard, installed the pergola and then the pavers. Lastly, ran the gas line from side of house to the back for the fire pit and fire bowls. Also, I would like to add that Jessica who is the office manager kept me informed every step of the way and always responded within one business day to my emails or phone calls. I cant say enough about FCC and I look forward to them coming back in the near future to start on phase II of my back yard installing lighting on the pergola along with a outdoor kitchen and bar area. Originally I wanted to get quotes from at least three to four contractors. Florida Coastal was the second one and after meeting with Shane I knew that I didn't need to look further. Not only did he quote me at 10K less than the first company, but Shane took the time to draw out and explain the cost of everything. The other company just told me a price with no drawing and never replied to my followup email. Florida Coastal showed up the day after we made our deposit and had the whole job done in less than a week, and it was a pretty large job including the driveway with a wraparound parking spot, culvert replacement, back patio free-formed around trees, and a fire pit. They concreted underneath all edges and gave a five year warranty. They also put up with or questions and changes during the process in a friendly manner. Everything came out much better than expected and Shane even gave my son a birthday present! The crew did an incredible job cleaning up when they left, including packing down the spots in the grass where they had parked. I would absolutely recommend Florida Coastal Contractors without hesitation.

Excellent, they were fantastic. They were very nice and friendly, they cleaned up after themselves everyday, they came and showed up when they said they were gonna showed up and they always get the timeline they said they will finish the work. Shane was awesome. I plan to have them some other work for me.
