We purchased a deal from Mark Howell Painting through Angie's List. Mark contacted us and we arranged for a day that worked for both he and us. Mark arrived, with Sherman Williams Paint, and got right to work painting the trim in our home. Mark's work was professional, neat and looked great! He took time to prep anywhere that needed it and did not drip or spill a drop anywhere. We are very happy with the workmanship from Mark Howell Painting!

I requested an estimate from Mr. Howell and he came to my house on a Saturday. Was pleasant enough and said he would have estimate on the Monday. On Monday I asked him when I could expect the estimate and he indicated it would by 6:00. Meanwhile I had decide to hire another company. I told him never mind on the estimate and Thanked him. I then get back this text from him: "Sn sorry for that hope they do a bad job for you since you are rude and nasty I told you I would have it to you Monday when I left your ertimate please never call my company back will never work for rude and nasty people like yourself" In my mind this was very rude of him and just because I decided to go with someone else, doesn't make me rude. I never said a rude thing to him. I'm glad I discovered his true personality before I hired him. Can't say anything about the quality of his work, but beware this dude has an attitude. He insists I was the rude one, but I have text screen prints to prove who was rude.

Mark was terrific and very professional. He has many years of experience and it shows. He was meticulous, removing all hardware and pictures, keeping edges straight and baseboards nicely masked, cleaning up as he went and leaving me a very happy client. I would definitely refer him to others and rehire him.

Mark is the best real house painter in FL/St. Johns county area. His attention to detail of the prep of the surface to paint is amazing and the final product of a perfectly applied (not sprayed) paint is perfection. He will exceed your expectations!

Mark did a fantastic job painting all of our baseboards, molding and interior doors. He was fairly priced and very responsive. Highly recommended. I will be using him again in the future.

We highly recommend Mark Howell. After speaking with a few companies for estimates, he was the most responsive, personable, knowledgeable and professional. We received a lower quote from another company, but we had the most confidence in Mark. He did not disappoint. His work is flawless with perfectly straight lines, detailed trim work and our walls are smooth as can be. From prep to clean-up, it's obvious he takes pride in his work. The best painting company we've ever hired, that's for sure.

I was on a tight timeline. Mark arrived on time, began work immediately and maintained the schedule he promised even though he met with multiple "historical home" difficulties. He worked Friday afternoon, most of Saturday and finished Sunday afternoon. Mark was very professional and met all my expectations. The walls are beautiful! At the end of every day he made sure to clean up so that we could maintain some ability to function (kitchen remember). Would absolutely hire him again.

Mark does excellent work. He is a professional. I think he is a little pricey but you get what you pay for.

Mark Howell does all of his own work. He is quite professional responding quickly to emails and phone calls. He arrived on time as we had scheduled, and worked hard all day. He painted the areas we requested and did a great job, correcting many areas where sloppy painters had been in the past. The trim looked so much better, we had him back the next week to paint the walls. Again, Mark was efficient and did a beautiful job on my living room walls. The room feels happier now with a new color and fresh paint!
