Description of Work: I recently lost a key to one of wife’s vehicles and rather than have a terrible day and feeling like crap I called up Lenny (it may have been him and his son) and he gave me an ACTUAL price. I tried three people before and Either they couldn’t do it or the price was ridiculous.

+ -1 moretechnician showed up promptly and looked at locks Said some had been put in backwards and stripped so couldn't be re-keyed. First said he thought they could all be keyed the same but as work progressed he found reasons why he couldn't do that Ended up with three different keys. He was constantly on his phone while working. When I checked his work I found some of the locks not completed, one put in backwards and the front door lock was missing the plate with huge gap. I had to call him back to the job 3 times. He only wanted to put one screw in front door plate saying that was what it had to start. I insisted he fix it properly. He left a mess at every door and had thrown the lock plate in the yard?! Would never recommend or hire again

+ -1 moreOkay. Price was more than 100% quoted over the phone, but about the national average. Sonny talked too much, and too fast, asked too many questions about the neighborhood. Not sure about the quality of the lock, since I did not see the box. To re-hire I would need more assurance of price range and quality of replacement.

I was very impressed at how quickly the company could get someone out to me without any extra charge. Anthony was very personable and knowledgeable about all of the questions I asked him. He fixed my lock very quickly and was very helpful and professional. I would definitely hire them again!

He arrived 20 minutes after I called , it took him 25 minutes to remove the broken key (which was really stuck in there) and program me a new key. Description of Work: A Lenny Locksmith was contacted after searching on my phone for a locksmith in the Delray Beach area. I must give it to them for SEO because the site was the first that appeared. They boast their $15 and quick response time to lure you in... The mobile website does not mention the $15 is only a service charge. Their price quickly jumps up! My garage door leading into the house was the subject. I was alone with my 9 month old baby locked out of the house. The locksmith evaluated the situation, told me he was not able to pick the locks of any of our doors and he would have to drill the lock. I was hesitant but desperate as I could not be locked out of the house for 8 hours with a baby. He told me the cost would be $120. The locksmith saw my despair and offered to "try one thing" before breaking our lock. This "one thing" was placing an airbag in the door and bumping the lock. The technique was one I was very familiar with and is usually the first thing tried by any locksmith based my experiences of the past. The total job took less than one minute to complete. Upon opening the door, the man asked for $120. No drilling was required yet the price remained the same. The advertised starting price of $15 lured me in but I was quickly taken advantage of when my situation was evaluated. I questioned the charge and contacted the owner, Lenny. The price was decreased to $100 with attitude. I will NEVER use this service again! \
