Responded right away to my request for a service professional, and visited my house the next morning to check on my issue. Atilio, the owner, was incredibly thorough, knowledgeable and helpful. Would highly recommend them for anyone needing restoration work.
Description of Work: They checked our attic to make sure that mold remediation was not necessary.

+ -1 moreThey were prompt and thorough in clearing flood damaged furniture and drywall and cleaned everything before they finished. On removing the drywall we found 2 foundation cracks which needed repairing and they were able to recommend someone to fix it. The only problem I had with Bernhardt was that when they disconnected the TV and theater sound system, no one thought to take a picture or take notes. When questioned, I was assured by 3 people that they could put it back no problem. Sadly, this proved not to be the case and we had some trouble getting it all hooked up.
Description of Work: After a flood in July, we needed drywall removal throughout our 1900 s.f. basement. I called Bernhardt on the recommendation of a neighbor and they were very responsive, coming the next day to give us a quote. They explained thoroughly what would happen and that we would receive the quote in 24-48 hours. It was high but not unexpected and we asked them to get started.

+ -1 moreThey were fantastic! Atilio came out within an hour and half after my call to check things out. He put odor neutralizer inside my furnace and around an outside door in the basement, and then his crew came on a Sunday morning to clean all my carpets and rugs. They did a great job and the house smelled much better afterward. It made a huge difference. I was impressed with their responsiveness, the quality of their work, how nice they were and their overall professionalism. For the extent of what they did I thought they had a very fair price. I recommend them highly and will definitely use them again.
Description of Work: A few days before Thanksgiving, a skunk got into a fight outside my house in the middle of the night, and let loose with his stinky spray near the fresh air intake vents to my furnace. The vents sucked in that stinky air and efficiently distributed it throughout the entire house in a matter of minutes - just awful! The house and everything in it reeked of the worst skunk smell ever. I then spent 5 days with the windows open, all fans on, various deodorizers set up throughout the house and had to move out during the process for those days. I finally called Bernhardt thinking that having my carpets cleaned may help since they would have absorbed the skunk odor and retained it. So I asked them to come out to see if they could help.

+ 0 moreFantastic. Probably the best experience with a contractor or service company I have ever had. I have had other contractors perform work at our home that did a great job, but the experience with Bernhardt was simply as it gets. On time, on budget, excellent work and friendly. I have no relationship with this company and have been meaning to write a review for years. I feel bad it took me this long to write a review since my experience was so good. It's a family operation and they really care about the job they do. A member of the family was on site everyday of the job. I had them do another smaller job a couple years after the first job. The experience was as good the second time as the first.
Description of Work: We had a flood in our basement. BERNHARDT removed and treated everything that came in contact with water, remediated, and replaced everything as good as new.

Description of Work: Restoration work in flooded bathrooms and basement. While doing the restoration, we had additional remodeling and electrical work done, including the kitchen. At every stage of the project they offered cost effective suggestions. I will use them again.

He was the only one who could get to me within 48 hours. I like the fast response. The price was competitive.
Description of Work: I use Bernhardt. He brought a dryer after my basement flooded last time. The first floor I ended up having like a small shared office space so it was important I got problems like that remediated quickly. He did a good job with I and he bought an industrial humidifier down and had it running. It kept turning off so I called him and told him it kept turning off by itself so he replaced it with another one. I had him spay the inside with an antimicrobial agent to kill any germs.

Atilio was onsite within five hours and has his crew out of there within 12 hours. He kept checking up on equipment throughout cleanup and worked with insurance company to provide quotes for cleanup. No mess good communicator, responsive. You should definitely use this company for disaster cleanup.

+ 1 moreI worked with Arianna and Matt and they were great. I would definitely call them back. I trusted them. They were really good about going over areas we could conserve a little bit.
Description of Work: We had the worst flood. They came over at 9 o’clock at night when I was home alone and took care of this water that was pouring into the basement. It was a $30,000 insurance job and they took care of everything with the insurance from the beginning to end. They took care of the wood floors, drywall and painting.
