Raboin, LLC, specializes in roof and chimney repairs and restoring slate and copper roofs all over the historical downtown Boston area and greater Middlesex County.
"I got five or six quotes to replace between 30-40 broken slates on my natural slate roof. Raboin had by far the most competitive price and appeared to have the expertise to back it up. They also guarantee the work, which many companies refuse to do. The slates were repaired quickly with matching materials. I'm very happy I went with Raboin for this job. I later had them replace the step flashing. Again, the price was fair for the extent of the job. Everything appears to have been done well. I knocked off 0.5 from the work quality score for two minor reasons: 1) I think a little more care could have gone into the appearance of the flashing (for example, not all step flashes are at perfect right angles). 2) Cleanup could have been a little more thorough. I had to sweep the main work areas and clean up some left over material. Overall I highly recommend Raboin. If your experience was like mine, you'll get good value, good communication, and high quality work done at a fair price."

Never did get a receipt or the warranty. The roof was done well but was not worth the hassle dealing with Power."

On day one, company owner Bill Shea surveyed the project and gave us a full explanation of what needed to be done. He left us with a wide variety of shingle samples to help us with the decision process. After providing what we considered was a reasonable quote, the work began shortly thereafter. Everything moved along quickly and the work was well executed on every level. His hard-working team of three roofers worked together efficiently and in a professional manner. We greatly appreciated that they took the extra time needed to finish the job they set out to do each day, after which they fully cleaned the area and organized their equipment so it was out of our way. The new roof was then tested the following week by torrential downpours and thanks to their fine workmanship our previous roof leaking issues were solved! We highly recommend Shea Roofing for all of your roofing needs!"
