Pressure test was done and found no leaks and I had a shut off valve installed at my gas dryer.

Faulty outside faucet replaced with new one 4/17/2018 Leak developed in new faucet 8/15/2018 Contacted H&S Plumbing and was told that though the faucet was under warranty it would cost a minimum of $120 since labor was not under warranty.

I had Jason out to replace lavatory shut-off valves in Jan. '16. Since then he has been our go-to plumber! 5 visits later we have a new water heater, removed the softener, new under-sink 3-stage filter system, new lavatory sink and faucet, new outdoor hose bibbs and new tub faucet and spout. On all occasions, he called to let us know he was on his way and was on time. We found Jason to be professional, polite, stayed busy and did an exemplary job. Their prices, checked against the blue book available on Angie's List, are below mid-line (low/high industry standard for this area). Thank you Jason for reminding me that a coupon can often be found on the H&S Plumbing website!

Found and repaired aging components.

Jason arrived at the time stated, explained what he was going to be doing and areas he would be checking. Completed work in a satisfactory manner.

I am not thrilled with them. They were nice and polite but I did not get what I wanted to get and the price was high.

They did an excellent job. They were responsive, prompt they also answered some of my questions.

They didn't remove the molded wood under the old tub after they pulled it out. They didn't put any liner under the new tub. We originally wanted a walk in shower and they claimed they couldn't do it because of the stud that was in place where our linen cabinet slid in and out. By the time I had gotten home from work they had cut out the stud to put the new tub in forcing us to have a new linen cabinet custom built to fit into the smaller slot they had created. For the amount of money they charged it in no way compared to the quality of work that was put into it. Would never ever recommend them to anyone.

They were absolutely amazing. They worked with some of the last minute changes I had. They were fair on price, pleasant to deal with, and very respectable. I will definitely be using them again in the future.

Called H&S for a leaking water heater. My wife gave them all the information for the current water heater that was installed and H&S came the next morning. He went down to the basement and came back up and said the water heater needed to be replaced but he had the wrong one on the truck as we needed a power vent. It felt like he was telling me that we didn't give the right information over the phone, but I said we gave the model and SN number of the current one, he said that doesn't give them everything they need. We don't know what information they need, they should ask. He gave me the price of the installation and I wanted to know a breakdown of cost and know what specific water heater he would be using. He said they only charge by the job and could not give a breakdown, which was fine. He then gave me a quote for a customer supplied water heater install and noted that any extra costs would not be covered by that and would be an additional charge. It also seemed like a problem to give me the exact model of the water heater that would be installed. I know there isn't a lot of difference in this area between manufacturers but what if I wanted a water heater with a longer warranty. He then called the office and said that he could do it today for an additional charge of having to go somewhere and pick up the water heater or he could come back the next day for no additional charge. I chose to have him come back the next day since we weren't without hot water. He was there bright and early the next morning ready to complete the job. I left him alone to do his thing and it took him about 3.5 hours total to get in and out. He had left a trail of snow and mud through our kitchen and basement from his shoes. He cleaned up what was in the kitchen but we had to vacuum what was in the basement and stairs up. Probably have some booties or do something to protect the customers home in the future. We also have noticed that the power vent on the new water heater is louder than the previous one. Overall I was pleased with the service, I believe the price was probably a little high. I did not get any other quotes but in the future probably will. I also would like to be given more options when it comes to what products are being installed.

We were very disappointed in the service. When the plumber came to look at the toilet. He said that he has never worked on a pressurized toilet before (even though their website says they are experienced at it), and called the number on the side of the tank. They talked to the manufacturer of the tank, (rudely handing the phone to my husband who did not know the answers to the questions the manufacturer was asking), the plumber said to order a new tank and to install it ourselves. And that was the end of the visit! We still had to pay him the $54 site visit for him to come and tell us to order a new tank and install it ourselves. He did not even tell my husband any details about the istallation. So long story short, we will never call this company again. When setting up the appointment, we had mentioned what the problem was.. if they had been honest to begin with and said they had no experience on that kind of toilet system, then we wouldnt have wasted our time and money on them.

Someone did arrive within the agreed upon time period (barely) and I was contacted when they had left their previous call. Water heater was included with the house that we recently purchased. The previous owner had provided a house warranty to cover such problems otherwise we would have replace the heater ourselves. The warranty company had no one available in our area to handle the call so they approved us to call a local contractor and have the work performed. For any work exceeding $250, we needed to call for pre-approval. The plumbing company did not need to deal with the warranty company, they simply need to provide the invoice (once the work order was approved), which I would pay and get reimbursement. The H&S Plumber was not sure what the problem was so offered that he could replaced the valve/thermostat or the complete water heater. The costs would be approximately $450/$1000. Prices seemed a little high but if the warranty company approved, OK. Since the water heater was a lower grade heater and well past it's warranty, I said that a complete replacement should be done. It didn't make sense to spend that kind of money ($450) to replace just the thermostat when the whole heater could blow any day. The plumber agreed. Besides he said, he didn't have the correct parts anyway. I called for approval. The warranty company asked simple questions until they asked for a cost breakdown of the service like parts cost and labor cost. The plumber would not provide. He said that he would have to have the office call the warranty company and provide the numbers. Didn't make sense to me at the time but I was in a hurry. Next day the plumber calls back and says that they will absolutely not provide a cost breakdown. This is ridiculous as I would think that this is a normal practice. I can only guess that it is because their prices are so. high. Anyway, he keeps talking about replacing the thermostat. I told him that was never what we talked about and that he agreed that it wasn't the correct choice. He had no recollection of that and said that he would have to ask the office to provide numbers for that instead. I'm sure that is likely to happen. After all of that, e then tells me that they don't think I have any problems at all except that my water heater is undersized. It's a 40 gal heater for only my wife and I. We can't even get 2 showers out of it. The plumber never checked to see if we even had low flow shower heads or anything. Nothing difficult here, just a water heater that needs replacing because it is old, out of warranty and no longer works properly. All I asked for was a reasonable request for the cost break down, the same thing that is required by law in many other industries. And oh yeah, a technician that could bring the correct parts when he shows up and has some idea what he is talking about would be nice too. S, I had to pay a $100 trip fee and got absolutely nothing for it. I should have just done the job myself as I usually do for a fraction of the cost that they are charging.

ldWe called for an appointment which was set up for the following day. We were notified by phone when the plumber was on his way. Curt, the plumber arrived on time, assessed the problem and repaired the leak in a timely manner. We are very pleased with the service we received. Curt was pleasant and informative. We would recommend H and S Plumbing and if necessary would use their services again.

Called Tuesday. Were very friendly and helpful on phone and was able to make appointment for same day! Bob was plumber who came out. Bob did a very thorough inspection. He was courteous and honest. We would highly recommend!

Service went very well. The faucet handles were very difficult to center and position, and the plumber worked very hard to solve the problem. The plumber and Gary had a difficult problem with whirlpool tub not emptying, but they kept at it until they had solved the problem. These tasks needed original thinking, and they provided it. I have asked them to come again for a different plumbing problem.

The job was bigger than expected. The outdoor faucet leaked because of a burst pipe. It required replacement and a lot of labor, including removing the crawl space door covered in vines (had to cut through). All fixed and working properly!

.The service man arrived on time. He was very friendly and went right to work after I explained what I wanted done. The drain from my house to my septic tank was not run correctly and H & S plumbing corrected the problem. They replaced the old drain pipe with new pipe and used the proper fittings. They also made sure that the pipe ran down hill as the old pipe had a up hill piece causing a low spot that caused flow problems.I am very satisfied with their work and the price was resonable

Overall, the experience was positive. There's never a good time for a hot water heater to start leaking. I normally prefer to get at least 3 estimates on any repair job, but again I was concerned with the holiday week and that I might not get the heater replaced till after Thanksgiving; and that would be unacceptable as it was leaking pretty good. I checked on-line and the exact model H2O heater they sold me was being sold at on-line stores between $390 - $549. H&S charged over $1,000 to install. They also charged an additional $500 to disconnect and reconnect the water softener and for miscellaneous fittings and labor. They don't charge by the hour, but by the cost of the job, which can't be determined until they get to your house and assess the scope of work. There's also a $55 trip charge that's deducted if you have them perform the work when they first come. FYI--This presents a dilema because if you want other estimates, you need plumbers who charge trip charges to arrive last. This way if the "trip charge" plumber's estimate is less, you can hire them to do the work. That said, this wasn't an option for me. They did offer me a 1 yr maintenance plan for $120 that would reduce the H2O heater install cost 10%, so that helped reduce the cost of the job and at least gave me one annual checkup.

Called and left message with someone at their office before they were open, this person confirmed the status of my leak and that the water supply valve had been turned off. They promptly returned my call to setup and appointment for later that morning, technician showed up on time, found pin hole in copper water supply line behind the block wall, offered three suggestions on how to complete the repair. After completing the repair the technician had noticed that my pressure cut off switch was dripping, I did remember seeing that after he had brought this back to my attention. He gave me and estimate cost to replace the switch and 30 minute later this was completed as well. Both repairs were completed by about 2:00 PM that day and my cost includes both repairs.

My experience with them was good. I would definitely use them again in the future.

Compared to roto rooter they charge by the hour rather than the job, so it was very affordable and cheaper than it would have been if I would have gone with Roto Rooter. They did a great job. There were no grumbling.

We contacted H&S plumbing after discovering a plumbing leak, and they dispatched a plumber within just a few hours, so they were timely, and they stopped the leak. We had just moved into a new home and also asked H&S to install one new sink and two faucets. This is where we were not as happy with the service and in particular, the price. The plumber was unable to install one of the sinks at all... He said he needed an extension that he didn't have on his truck and offered to go get the part (just 4 miles away) for a mere $80 upcharge. I went and purchased the part myself, and he was still unable to successfully install the faucet on our laundry room sink. For the other sink and faucet that he did install, he charged an unbelievable rate in the vacinity of $375. That's about what we paid for this special order sink/faucet combo and is more than double what other companies charged us to install similar sinks. Bottom line: Of the 4 plumbers we have used since moving into our new home, H&S has been by far the most expensive. Kudos to H&S for their response time for our leak, but we will definitely not use them again because of their extremely high pricing when compared to other plumbing companies.
