We Provide Chiropractic to Large and Small Animals
Initial Large Animal Chiropractic
The first adjustment of your large animal will be very detailed. We begin by taking a detailed history of the animal and the complaint. We follow that with posture analysis, as well as palpation of the soft tissues and spine. Next, we check the animal's gait for proper biomechanics. We then Graston the soft tissues to break up adhesions. Finally, we motion palpate the joints of the body and adjust as needed. We will check equipment, including saddle fitting if appropriate, and make necessary adjustments. If the animal needs it, laser, BEMER, and RockTape will be implemented. Appropriate stretching and exercises are also prescribed.
Large Animal Chiropractic Follow up
Animals that have already been seen by our chiropractors will be treated very similar to their initial appointment. New history is added and followed with a quick exam of the posture, soft tissues, and gait. Graston and adjustments are then applied to the areas of dysfunction. If the animal needs it, laser, BEMER, and RockTape will be implemented. Appropriate stretching and exercises are prescribed. We can also recheck any equipment.
