Jamison Properties is in the business spotlight for the week. Jamison Properties has been in business in Tehama County since the early 1990's.  Terri Jamison, owner/broker, has been in the real estate industry for 21 years and obtained her broker’s license in 1989.  She opened her first office in Gerber in 1994.  Her Corning office on Third Street was opened in 2004 and she merged the Gerber office in 2008.  Jamison obtained her G.R.I. Oct. 31 Events for the communityThere are two events Friday for children of all ages put on by chamber members. The annual Veteran’s free Children’s Safe Halloween Party runs from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Veteran’s Memorial Hall, 1620 Solano St. where there will be games, prizes, face painting, a cake walk and of course candy. There will also be costume judging. Harvest Christian Center will again host the Harvest Festival from 5 to 8:30 p.m. at South Street and Sixth Avenue. The streets will be blocked off for a safe environment for the whole family. There will be bounce houses, many children’s games with lots of candy, chili, hot chocolate and coffee. There will be door prizes given out to adults every half hour.

Love at First CrushFrom 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Sunday; Pacific Farms invites you to Love at First Crush, Olive Mill’s open house, “Olive Milling and Merriment”. You will pick olives and make oil, talk to the producers and taste their wares. There will also be some local wine tasting. Kids are welcome. Pacific Farms is located at 22880 Gerber Rd. in Gerber.
