Christina Thead, an Atlanta native, established Christina's Interior Finishes, LLC, a Decorative Artist studio, in 1996 in Roswell, GA.

For the past 25 years, Christina has designed, created, and painted for both residential and commercial clients.
As a Decorative Artist, she has painted walls, ceilings, cabinets, furniture, columns, and accessories with faux and decorative paint finishes.

Due to the physicality of daily operations involved with ladders, heavy equipment, ceilings and floors, Christina has changed her career direction to creating mixed media/ abstract wall artwork.
She especially is fond of incorporating natural elements of patinaed copper, dried natural flowers, and distressed wood into her designs.

During her faux finish career, she was honored to participate in 6 Atlanta area showhouses. Her first successful showhouse was the coveted Atlanta Symphony Decorator's Showhouse, the other 5 were for the local Roswell Women's Club Showcase Homes, one of which she was a Featured Designer responsible for designing a Nanny's Craft Room, with an adjoining hallway and laundry room.

Christina was an active member of the Peachtree Decorative Artists Guild, a professional decorative artist group, which provided education, with guest instructors, and support and networking opportunities for its members. She served on their Board of Directors for 6 of the 10 years of her membership. Along with fellow Guild members, she painted several Habitat for Humanity houses.

For more than a decade, Christina has been an active member of the Atlanta Pen Women, one of 81 branches of the National League of American Pen Women (NLAPW). This prestigious organization was founded in 1897 when women journalists were not allowed to join men's professional groups. The NLAPW supports, educates, and promotes professional women in arts, letters, music, and allied professions. She has also served several years on this professional organization's Board of Directors.

Christina's faux finishes have been featured in numerous publications, including Atlanta Magazine, Atlanta Home Improvement Magazine, and The Roswell Neighbor Newspaper.
