Maná 75 - A Vibrant Paella Experience

Maná 75 is quite unique on the paella scene in Barcelona. It specializes in paella, and welcomes both locals and visitors alike, without ever compromising on quality. It’s a lot more than just a paella restaurant: it’s an experience. This makes it easily one of the best paella restaurants in Barcelona.

The location of Maná is impeccable: right in the Barceloneta neighborhood, close to the sea and next to the W hotel. The restaurant is spacious yet very inviting: Feng Shui techniques have been applied to the space and you can feel it in how comfortable and welcoming it is. Check if you can have one of the round tables: they’re perfect, especially if you are in a group.

What really draws the attention here is the open kitchen, and the long line of paellas being prepared right in front of you. There’s even a stool you can step on to get a good look of the long row of paellas. If that doesn’t make your mouth water, I don’t know what does.

The menu offers a range of starters, many of them perfect for sharing. They’re classic local dishes, such as ensaladilla rusa, patatas bravas, mussels, and more, all delicious and well executed. There is also a range of salads, and for those who prefer something else than a paella or a rice dishes you can pick from both fish and meat dishes, and we can assure you that you won’t be disappointed. The service at Maná 75 is very friendly, and they’ll help you pick the right dish for you if you wish.

But let’s dive into the paellas. There are a whopping 14 (!) options to pick from, so you can be sure that there’s something for everyone. Seafood, vegetables, meat, soupy style rice dishes (arroz caldoso), fideuà (noodle paella), and more. The paellas are served for a minimum of 2 people, as is common at paella restaurants. There is also a very much recommendable set menu option called Menú Ilusión, where you pick from a set of starters and paellas, and that also includes dessert and coffee, all for a very fair price.

Once you’ve decided on your order, you can go to the open kitchen and have a peek into how your paella is made if you wish. Once it is ready, the chef gives it a beautiful last touch with fragrant rosemary, and the smell will remind you of their delicious paella long after your visit.

Make sure to leave room for dessert though. There’s no dessert menu, instead the staff brings out a large tray with a range of delicious-looking desserts to choose from.

At Maná 75 everything comes together beautifully: the atmosphere, the service, the space, and of course the great food and drinks. It is a great experience for couples, groups of friends and family, for business lunches or dinners, anniversaries and celebrations. If you come by car, you have great parking in the hotel, and you’ll get a good discount for your parking with your restaurant visit (just ask for it when you leave). Maná 75 is without a doubt one of the best paella restaurants in the city, for both locals and visitors alike.
