THE #1 BESTSELLING CRIME THRILLER

An Internet stalker turned serial killer...
Jake Lassiter follows clues from Miami to London...
And gets framed for murder himself.

"Catch me if you can." The lipsticked message on the bathroom mirror evokes Jack the Ripper. But the dead woman's computer points to a modern website where women spend solitary nights in steamy talk with lovelorn trolls, sometimes arranging real rendezvous that can lead to anything...even murder.

"Breathlessly exciting." - Cleveland Plain Dealer

"Paul Levine is one of Florida's great writers, and Jake Lassiter is his greatest creation." - Dave Barry

"Terrific. Levine, like Scott Turow and John Grisham before him, has created a really fun piece of fiction." - Miami Daily Review

About the Author

The author of 20 novels, Paul Levine won the John D. MacDonald fiction award and was nominated for the Edgar, Macavity, International Thriller, Shamus and James Thurber prizes. A former trial lawyer, he wrote twenty-one episodes of the CBS military drama "JAG" and co-created the Supreme Court drama "First Monday" starring James Garner and Joe Mantegna.

The international bestseller "To Speak for the Dead" was his first novel and is still in print 27 years after publication. He is also the author of the "Solomon vs. Lord" series and several stand-alone thrillers. His most recent legal thriller is "Bum Rap," a number one bestseller in the Amazon Kindle Store. Described as a "delicious mix of thriller and comic crime novel" in a starred review in Booklist, "Bum Rap" brings Lassiter together with rivals Steve Solomon and Victoria Lord. "Bum Luck," the second of that series, will be published in March 2017.

A graduate of Penn State and the University of Miami Law School, Paul divides his time between Miami, Florida and Santa Barbara, California.
