I used them on 2 occassions and never would again! They were terrible! The wife and I ordered a set of Zebra set of blinds and 3 times they had to be sent back, because nothing matched up. It appears that they didn't make the effort at the factory or at Calgary Fashion windows to ensure that the stripes lined up. In the end, the owner offered me $50 off or to take them back and offer us a full refund. Well, here we are without any window coverings, so we agreed and left them the way they were. About 6 months later on a seperate window, the same kind of blinds just started to shred and fall apart, both upstairs in the bedroom and the picture windows on the main floor. I had the owner come out to provide us an estimate then for the picture windows. The blinds weren't that old, so he proposistioned me to simply have them returned to the company where I bought them, or he could return them for us for a fee. I said sure, that goes most appreciated. Now that was in the second week of December. I asked him how long it would be before we could expect them returned to us after the repair. He said about a month. Okay I said, so instead of taking the blinds with him, he left them for me to remove and said he would be back towards the end of December to pick them up to send out. Well, the end of December came and no communication. The end of January and no communication. So; I called him and asked, ''whats the hold up ?'' He then hesitated and then said that he gave it to his installer to look after, but his installer was down with covid for a month. I asked him why he didn't look after the order like he agreed, he had no reply. He then emailed me stating that they will likely be done by the 10th of March and would send someone out for install on the 17th. I heard nothing from the owner. I then called him and he said, we have nothing booked. So; the intaller came out the next day and put them in. Cost me $225 dollars. The installer was only sick two days! Can't trust owners
