All Hours Emergency Plumber (****) LLC was contracted by ******** **** ****** ***** to perform a service call on our tankless water heater. The **** rep arrived on 2/21/2023 and determined parts on the water heater were damaged and had to be replaced. They indicated they would file a report with AHS indicating the same. Since, AHS continues to tell us they cannot do anything because **** will not file the report. I have attempted to contact **** daily via text and phone messages and they have ignored all requests to call me with an update, acknowledge whether or not they have filed the report with AHS, or any other reasonable response. I am 67 years old. My wife is 66. I am also a Veteran of the US Army. Not having hot water is presenting a real concern and danger to our health. In addition we are having to pay hotels and YMCA to simply take showers so we can maintain our hygiene. We cannot properly clean our home or do laundry which is further adding to our health concerns.

We understand your concern and are aware of the time delays that may be experienced when waiting on the process with the home warranty company. I can assure you that all photos and details of your diagnosis on your tankless water heater were provided to your home warranty company within 24 hours of our service appointment at your home. Your water heater is still under the original manufacturer warranty thru ***** and in that situation you have to communicate with your manufacturer and your home warranty company to get the parts for your heater repair. The home warranty company does not cover any parts on units still under manufacturer warranty. In addition, we are only a 3rd party vendor that provided services for ******** **** ******. Your contact and consumer relationship is with your home warranty company not this plumbing company as you are a customer of theirs and we are a 3rd party contractor performing work for them. We do not dictate the terms of your contract or make any decisions on coverage. If your water heater was not under manufacturer warranty then the process would have worked differently in regards to obtaining parts and installing them. Please contact your water heater manufacturer for your next steps and additionally your home warranty company. We have fulfilled our portion of this process in being at your home within 48 hours from the time you opened your service request and diagnosing the repair needed for your water heater. Once those details were provided, it is out of our hands. I understand it is very frustrating and inconvenient to have no hot water in your home and if we could have done more to assist with that, we most certainly would have.

On September 8, 2022, I contacted American Home Shield about a leak under my kitchen sink. They sent All Hours Emergency Plumber, who said that the faucet needed to be replaced. I have been waiting for well over a month for them to replace the faucet. I have called All Hours and American Home Shield again and again, and there is absolutely no movement on getting this done. All Hours keeps saying they don't yet have authorization from American Home Shield, and American Home Shield keeps saying the contractor has not sent in their diagnosis, without which they can't approve the work. All Hours keeps saying they'll submit the diagnosis by the end of the day, but they never do, and AHS won't do anything to expedite the process. Meanwhile my faucet is continuing to drip into my cabinet. I have called again and again and keep getting the same story and the same assurances, and nothing ever happens. This is completely unacceptable. They took my money, now they won't render service.

Submitted request for repair (PIPE LEAK) to American Home Shield on 6/27/22. All Hours Plumbing was contracted and technician came out; said he would need to return. Came back when I was not home and "fixed" the leak by cleaning out the overflow on the drain (?)... in the process he gouged the basin of my tub and left a hole and crack by what appears to have been him using a flathead screwdriver to wedge under the metal drain ring to pop it off. After many attempts to get All Hours back to see what had been done, they finally sent a supervisor who acknowledged "his guy" damaged my tub and also said the tech is no longer employed with them and is (in fact) in prison now. He said the "boss lady" would contact me to replace the tub as repairing it would not be sufficient and wouldn't last... the supervisor did a "quick fix" just to get me by for a week or so while i awaited the permanent fix. The "quick fix" appears to just be caulk which has since shrunk (which is why its only a "quick fix"). I have not received any call from the "boss lady" and have called MULTIPLE TIMES (sometimes twice a day) since then. I have called American Home Shield many times as well and they cannot get thru to the plumber either. Once however, they did, and "Jason" said a part would be in for the tub on 9/13/22 and they would call me to come fix it. I can only assume this is the drain ring, but that will NOT fix the tub. It has a gouge in the basin! It is now 10/10/22 and neither American Home Shield nor All Hours Plumbing have resolved the issue. All Hours doesnt even answer their phone or respond to voicemails. American Home Shield keeps telling me the issue has been escalated and wait 24-48 hours, but I have done that for MONTHS now. This is an elderly, disabled mans home and he is unable to use the tub on the second floor, which is his main living quarters and the only tub upstairs. I'd liken this to elderly and disabled abuse at this point!!! This is NEGLIGENCE!

On 08/23/2022, All Hours Emergency Plumbers was contracted by our home warranty company to fix a toilet that was not flushing properly. When **** arrived, he said he would auger the toilet to see if that would resolve the issue. When that didn't work, he said he would need to remove the toilet use a machine to flush the line and replace the toilet. He told me that since the warranty company did not cover that process, we would be responsible for the cost of $450. I told him to proceed if that would fix the issue. When he was finished, it appeared that the issue was fixed and the toilet flushed as normal. However, about 20 minutes after I paid the invoice and he left, I called the company to have **** return as the original problem had returned. When he came back and confirmed that the issue was still there, **** said that he thought the issue might be a clogged plumbing stack vent on the roof. He said that someone would need to get on the roof to evaluate this, and it would be a more considerable expense. He also said that since he had been unable to resolve the issue, he would have the office process a refund. Needless to say I have yet to receive the refund. Over the last month, I have called the company multiple times inquiring when the refund will be processed. My messages have gone unreturned. When I have been able to speak with someone, I am told that the person who does refunds will be in later in the day and they will try to get it done as soon as possible. The last person I spoke to (*****) on 09/16/2022 said, again, "we'll do everything we can to get that processed today". Still I have not received a refund. Meanwhile, I have had to pay another company to come out and actually resolve the issue which was something stuck in the toilet which had nothing to do with the plumbing vent. I want to stress, I have no issues with **** - he was very nice and attempted to fix the issue, but this company has horrible customer service.

The company put a propane water heater in my house 13 months ago. Water heater is now broke and this company will not help me get it replaced through Rheem. I contacted company (The Home Depot Pro) where All Hours emergency plumbing purchased the water heater and The Home Depot Pro told me all hours emergency plumbing had to bring the old water heater in for replacement. And All Hours emergency plumbing will not take action to get this done.

We apologize for the inconvenience you have experienced. Thank you for allowing us to provide service to you thru your home warranty company. Unfortunately, when we provide work thru your home warranty company it can become confusing at times who to go to if there is a follow up needed. Due to the service request going thru your contract with your home warranty and All Hours providing a service to your home warranty company, there is no direct relationship between All Hours Emergency Plumber and you. All service requests must go thru your home warranty company to whom your contract is with, or was with at the time of service. The water heater that was purchased was purchased by your home warranty company not by the plumbing company, we only picked it up with the order details provided with your service request. Unfortunately, there are times that something could be faulty with a water heater or any home appliance and that is why the manufacturers issue a warranty on the units. Any issues with the actual unit need to go directly thru the manufacturer so they could either provide you with a replacement or send out a specialist that can do the repair under the water heater warranty. Upon trying to escalate this issue for you with the home warranty company, i was advised that you no longer have a contract with the home warranty company that we were contracted thru and with this installation being 13 months ago, it is not considered an issue with the actual plumbing installation but an issue with the actual unit which will fall under your manufacturer warranty. Please contact the 800 number of the manufacturer of your water heater for them to get this resolved or your previous home warranty company. Unfortunately, we are unable to do anything as we never had any contract or hire directly between you and All Hours. We do hope this gets resolved as soon as possible and apologize for the inconvenience this has caused.
