UPDATE FROM MAY 13TH POST REGARDING MY POLICE REPORT RELATING TO ADVANCE. SEPTIC SOLUTION..
On May 13th, 2021 I placed a request to our nextdoor community in relation to their possible experience with ADVANCE SEPTIC SOLUTION. AT THAT TIME I WAS CONSIDERING THEIR SERVICE'???. WELL, as expected, no one responded. I also want to look for information regarding unreliable, or unreputable services from the septic companies. No response there neither. I did secure the services of ADVANCE SEPTIC SOLUTION May 14th, 2021. I met with a white male and a female. I told him that my septic system was backing up into my home. The first thing he ask me was ?, "What year was your home built?" . My response was 1988. His response was, without even going to my tank ; was, " you may need your filter cleaned or replaced , or you may need your line to be " Jetted" which will cost $900.00+. Well,when I first secured their services over the phone, I was told the cost for pumping my tank was $380.00. He also said if you had field line issues , it could be in the thousands, but we would start out with the field line jetted. As he proceeded toward the location of the tank, he used a small machine to dig up the tank top. Mind you he only dug up one top. ( He failed to dig up a second top ; which I did not know was there????) how deceptive . He said without having your lines jetted, it was enevitable that I would be calling him back. He did not examine my lines from the house to the tank at all to see if there are other issues causing my tank to back up. Before he left my home , I was charged $380.00 for the pump. WELL, MAY 16TH, 2021, MY TANK BACKED UP AGAIN. For four days I called many, many other septic tank companies. I contacted an official from NEWTON ENVIRONMENT AND HEALTH DEPT, and personally met with David Horsby, advising him of my dilemma. We met for about an hour. Mr Horsby stated to me that having my field lines jetted would cause more problems and that the State recommended that not to be done ; but May 14th ,Advance Septic Solution stated to me that they (ADVANCE SEPTIC SOLUTION )recommend it. I CONCLUDED MY MEETING WITH MR. HORNSBY. On May 19th, 2021, I called Advance Septic Solution back to advise them of my tank was backing up again. The receptionist advise me that they would send someone out the next day (Thursday) between 8:00am and 10:00am. They usually call before they come to let you know that they are on their way; well , that did not happen. A white male, who identified himself as the owner, " ***** ****" and a young white female. whom he said was his daughter showed up. He in a very rude manner stated to me, " Didn't we already come out here?". I replied, your representative came out here on the 14th of May to pump my tank because it was backing up. Mr **** drove a very large machine onto my yard, running over my Rose bush. He dug up two septic tank tops ( I did not know I had two tops)....the first rep did not even dig up the second top. Mr **** said he could jet the lines, but it would cost upwards of $900
00+...or if it is a field line problem, then it would cost me $5800.00+. Mr **** did not even examine the line from the house, that can be observed from the overflow pipe. I told him I already talk with Newton Co. Official about jetting the fieldlines, and I was advised by David Hornsby it was not recommended. Mr. **** said since you already talked with David, then you already got your mind made up. Mr **** said the only thing they ( Newton Co.Enviorment..) want you to do is purchase an expensive new system . Mr **** further went on to say, :YOU DONT KNOW WHAT YOU WANT...VERY RUDE. Mr **** was arguing with me on my own property. I responded to him by advising him that I called you to correct a problem I paid for. He proceeded to scream at me. I TOLD HIM HE NEEDED TO GET OFF OF MY PROPERTY. HE PROCEEDED TO GET ON HIS MACHINE , DRIVIVING OVER MY ROSE BUSH AGAIN AND YELLING AT ME,, "WHAT STUPID PERSON WOULD PLANT A ROSE BUSH HERE!!!, " "YOU GOTTA BE RETARDED." I ONCE AGAIN TOLD HIM TO LEAVE. I CALL MY WIFE WHO WAS IN THE HOUSE , ASK TO CALL THE POLICE. MR **** HAD GONE WHEN THE POLICE ARRIVED. I MADE A POLICE REPORT WITH A CASE NUMBER OF THE INCIDENT. MY WIFE WAS TERRIFIED DURING THE INCIDENT. MY OBJECTIVE WAS NOT TO INCITE MR ****, BUT TO REQUEST HIM TO LEAVE. WHAT HE MAY NOT KNOW WAS THAT I AM RETIRED POLICE AND WILL PROTECT MY HOME/WIFE FROM PERCEIVE HARM. Well at the end of the day, I contacted someone who also educated me concerning septic tank issues. He came to my home. He removed both tops and determined that Mr **** nor his representative was transparent in their dealings with me. The man I ended up calling came to my home, examine my lines and told me it was a simple fix. He showed ME and SOLVED the problem. NOW MY SYSTEM IS WORKING PERFECTLY!!!!@@!!. MY FIELD LINES ARE FINE. I PLAN TO FILE A COMPLAINT WITH THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU. I'VE ADVISED MY NEIGHBORS IN MY SUBDIVISION ABOUT THE INCIDENT. I HOPE SOMEONE IN OUR COMMUNITY READS THIS ....I DONT KNOW , MAYBE IT MAY HELP SOMEONE OR MAYBE IT WILL BECAUSE OF APATHY WITH IN OUR OWN COMMUNITY. ESPECIALLY IF IT IS NOT HAPPENING TO THEM!!!!!THIS SHAMES ME. WATCH OUT FOR ADVANCE SEPTIC SOLUTION AND AVOID THIS EXPERIENCED. I EVEN CALLED DAVID HORNSBY, THE OFFICIAL AT NEWTON CO ENVIRONMENT AND HEALTH DEPT.....IT WAS NOT MUCH HE COULD DO!!!!!!I WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU CARE!!!!HOW CAN WE STOP PEOPLE/COMPANIES/POLITICIA FROM PREYING ON US.?????NOT ALL ARE LIKE THAT. FORGIVE ME, BUT I AM VERY PERSAMISTIC WITH LITTLE HOPE THAT WE CAN RISE UP FROM SUCH TREATMENT. WE SHOULD BE OUR BROTHER KEEPER. LIKE A LOT OF MEANINGFUL POSTS, THIS ONE WILL BE SHOVED TO THE BACK AND FORGOTTEN. TAKE CARE ALL.
