I contacted ********************* on November 27, 2021, to repair my refrigerator regarding an error message that was displayed. ***** inspected the fridge and said that parts needed to be ordered. The cost would be $379.00, with $180.00 for parts and $199.00 for labor. I paid you $180.00 on November 29, 2021, via Zelle. After he worked on the repairs, I agreed that I would pay the remaining amount after coming home. The same day, after coming home, I noticed that the error message returned to the refrigerator. I notified him of this via text message.***** came back out to assess the problem and said there was something else wrong that needed to be fixed, and he stated that I would need to pay an additional $100.00 other than the $199.00 to take care of the issue. I declined to pay and instead asked him to return my $180.00 as I understood he was trying to take advantage and was not a genuine technician. The new issue should have been discovered initially, and the original problem, the error message, was still showing up. Also, several food items in my refrigerator got spoiled and had to be thrown away because the fridge was not repaired. I called WM appliance- **** to take care of the issue. After examining my refrigerator, **** said that ***** had replaced it was in working condition. The issue was elsewhere, and he took care of the issue for $123.50, including trip charge, parts, labor, and tax. I had a bad experience with *****. He is not a genuine technician, provides poor service, lacks expertise, and is a total rip-off. I hope to get my money back from *********************. I would file a complaint with ** ************************* and take him to court if needed.
