              I contacted Devlin for regarding an issue that I was having in my hallway bathroom. The technician diagnosed the problem and quoted me a price of $277.67; I asked him if that price was all inclusive; he responded yes. He said that he needed to pick up the part and that he would be able to fix it today if I wanted; I said yes and asked if I could pay him at that time he said no. When he returned to the unit he called because he couldn't gain entry; never did he say that the price had changed because he had to put a brand name diverted. After he completed the job he stated that it was $331.67; I asked him why the price changed; he replied that he had to purchase a Moen diverter. I didn't argue with him because I didn't want to cause a scene. He took off $25 for a coupon that I found on their Facebook page so I ended up paying $306.67. As a licensed NYS attorney I know that he violated the terms of the contract because he should've notified me of the change in price.

              I discovered a busted water pipe under my garage. I had absolutely no water. A plumbing company came out, dug up my yard and shrubs then said he was stumped. He told me he'd have to knock out walls inside the house to fix it. I was a wreck thinking of the cost and destruction. Then Phil from Devlin Plumbing came out. Within no time he had the water, electric and gas companies to mark their pipes He returned shortly after and installed a temporary pipe to provide me with hot and cold running water. He'll be back to fix this soon. It was like God sent me an angel. So, my suggestion to you all, if you have a plumbing problem, don't waste your time on other companies who will come out, destroy your yard, still have no answers and try to charge you a large amount of money for not even doing the fix. Call Devlin Plumbing. You won't be sorry. It's the right call!
