      Affordable Pest keeps sending me invoices for a service provided in early February 2023. I have paid in full for this service and have spoken several times with members of the accounts payable staff. I have send them copies showing the full payment was debited from my **** of ******* checking account. I just recently called **** of ******* and have now sent a copy of the check that **** of ******* sent to Affordable Pest that shows they cashed the check and deposited it to their account of February 14th. I received another call from Affordable Pest this morning seeking payment.

      I will recount the timeline of interactions with personnel from Affordable Pest to show how unsatisfactory their communication and delivery of services has been. • During the initial assessment, your employee offered services to address the “infestation” within my home. To date, not a single mouse or any animal has been killed, captured, or even sighted. • Your employee damaged my property, requiring extensive repair to no less than 4 areas of my ceiling, including a light fixture. • Due to your mismanagement of scheduling, your cancelation of services supposedly because your machines were “broken,” and the time required to fix the property you broke, my home has remained without insulation for 3 weeks during the coldest period of the year. o My daughter became ill and had to leave the house to go stay with her father because the house has been so cold that she could not sleep in my home. o I am required to wear sweaters and jackets inside when the thermostat is set to 68 degrees. o The heater is running full blast 24/7 (and it is a new HVAC installed last summer), using significantly more energy and costing significantly more money that would be necessary had your company fulfilled the contracted services. • During the course of your employees being late for appointments, failing to return calls, canceling service appointments altogether, or fixing your errored services, I have missed 7 days of work. I have already spent $4,482.60 on the aforementioned services, which in hindsight may not have been necessary at all to begin with. To compensate me for the illness of my daughter, my lost time from work, and the physical and emotional distress and inconvenience of having my home damaged, I was offered a coupon for a quarterly treatment of the Fortress Gold package service ($150), I do not wish to be insulted any further with offers of “coupons” for future work. There have been no mice trapped and no evidence that there even was a current mouse problem.

      On Oct 5, 2022 I had a service from *********************** of Affordable Pest which he and his colleague went into my attach and took photos of what they said was rodent activity. I had never been into my attic and initially called because I believed there to be a rodent in my HVAC. ***** denoted they found activity and were going to take actions to address and charged me $150 for that action. Upon a follow up with ******** around halloween of 2022,I was suspicious of rodent activity and he went into my attic and denoted the pictures sent by ***** were not of my attic and took pictures for his supervisor ****** to address and remedy. He also found the issue that led me to believe I had a rodent issue which was an improperly installed HVAC filter. In multiple attempts to reach ****** and remedy was been fruitless - almost avoiding my calls and communications via text in this regard. Today 12/27, Affordable Pest came to my house to do quarterly services which I did not ask for and denoted in text and told ************** wanted nothing to do with them other than my refund and then charged me $75 after I called the office and was assured I would not be charged. All told they owe me $300 for unnecessary services based on fraudulent information from their sales rep. ******* the supervisor, has been unhelpful in getting me resolution for over 2 months. Including 3 pictures named affordable from the sales rep and the last one is of my actual attic taken by their technician

      RAUDULENT! They online said service included mice and cockroaches. Then the guy, ******, pulled a fast one on the contract and said it would be $150 more. Then I immediately cancelled with *****, GM, and he said he would refund it and cancel the contract per Maryland law. They then woudln't refund and kept harassing me. I finally got in touch with someone, after months of back and forth they agreed cancelled and refunded it. Then they charged me again on 10/18/2022. RUN FOR YOUR LIFE! Fraud!! I used to use them, please trust me...go anywhere but here!

      11/18- Estimate & Service supposedly complete - I contacted company about charge issue- I was charged for exclusion work that did not happen. Was told that manager would follow up. Explained situation to ****** and he said he would call me back. Did not receive callback. 11/19- missed their call and tried calling back with no communication (text message pic)11/25- I reached out again via text because I had not heard from ****** and informed them of animals still present and to remove me from the upcoming visit until charge errors were resolved. (text message pic) 11/29- Spoke to ****** and he said that he would look into it again. I expressed my dissatisfaction and overcharge multiple times at this point. Also made him aware that the services were sold to me with the understanding that multiple services were included in the price. Technician removed the door and then said that the animals were entering neighbors roof. (Text message pic) informed me via phone that I would need to pay an additional charge to have them come back and reinspect. 11/30- Company reached out for update. I expressed my dissatisfaction/charge concerns and requested that the contract be cancelled. No response received. 12/1- Payment processed for services not completed and without my permission. Animals are still in the roof, exclusion work was not completed, I've been trying to work with them up until now. They charged my card with no notification/permission and I have not heard back about anything.

      My husband and I have had an annual service plan with Affordable Pest for several years whereby we pay $125 per quarter which includes exterior treatments to our townhouse and, on request only, interior service. I do not have any complaints about the services we have received, rather it is regarding our attempts to cancel the service plan with no response from the company. I have called on the phone four times, on November 11, November 14, November 16, and today, November 21. Three of the four times I reached an answering service that Affordable Pest contracts with; on November 16 I spoke with someone actually employed by Affordable Pest, but she was unable to help me with my cancellation. I also sent emails using the Affordable Pest online contact form, on November 11 and again today, November 21. I would like Affordable Pest to immediately (1) cancel my service with no further charges and (2) provide me with written confirmation of the cancellation.

      I discussed several times verbally with James N*** a company representative and he wrote it into the contract in front of me which is now gone in the emailed written version about the inspection of the wiring. James N*** said and wrote into the contract that the wiring in the attic would be inspected and the work to add more insulation would pause until any problem was rectified. Which was later removed in the emailed version without any approval to do so. When we called the telephone number a woman said a carpenter would change any wiring problems found in the attic, which is obviously a blatant untruth. They lied repeatedly and removed important things from the agreed contract and therefore are not trustworthy to do anything. We agree only to $1400 charge for "Carpentry". We contacted them and cancelled verbally the other services and was given no written acknowledgement.

      This company came to my rental property and did not perform the services they stated they did because no one was home. I called immediately and told them the person did not come because they could not access the home. I have also filed a complaint with my credit card company as well to dispute the charges. I spoke with the owner of the company to cancel the service. I have also sent emails requesting to cancel this service, however they keep coming to the house to gain access from my tenant.

      I paid this company a carpenter bees treatment to take care of this issue through my property ($300) they only came and spray pesticide only in the patio but now that I found more bees they want me to pay more which is not listed or was never mentioned when I signed up for this, Now i Have a contract with this company for 1 year and they (all together I will end up paying more than $1000) this is insane and want this company to refund all my money and find a real company that does what they are promised to do. Now I not only have to deal with this issue but I also have to deal with the bees myself.

      We had a contract in the fall of 2021 for the firm to remove a raccoon from our attic, seal the entrance point and replace all insulation. We promptly paid in full for the services. In February 2022 we had another raccoon. We contacted Affordable Pest, they provided a price but after multiple requests no written description of work to be performed, so we contacted another firm - and found out that only half of the attic insulation work was completed and a close up picture of the seal revealed shoddy workmanship. On March 5 the manager for Affordable Pest agreed to complete the insulation work, which they did, and refund $1000 - which they have not done. Since then, they have not responded to any emails, texts, or phone calls. (I dont know what upsets me more - the lack of refund or the lack of response,)
