I guess I'll add some thoughts here. It has been a little bit since I made a visit, but even before the Covid times, they were never really the best beer bar around, and I was never sure why they had high ratings here in the first place. Their big event use to include stuff like Founders KBS and other hyped stouts of the time, though that has long since past as far as I know, and was only just a one day event every once in a while.

Anyway, a dark dive like spot in a generic shopping center. They do food, like steak nights on occasion. Which is fine, but just OK. Lots of TV's, pool tables, other pub games, an area for bands. Service is fine, they mostly just know what is on tap, so again nothing wrong with that. More recently, selection is just the basic locals like Saint Arnold Art Car, something from Eureka Heights or Buffalo Bayou. A fair share are for Shiner, bad ciders (like Angry Orchard), macros, some Irish/UK nitro beers. All fine enough I guess, but nothing particularly unique. When I would come here on a more regular basis, noticed they needed to clean their tap lines better, and get fresher kegs in.

Far from a bad spot to have a beer. Though even in this day and age of the beer bars with extensive tap selections waning in popularity, still not nearly on the level of Hughies, Nobi, or Flying Saucer (I don't think they ever were). Just an OK spot on this side of town to get a drink if you happen to be in the area, which there is nothing wrong with. Though resembles something like Ron's Pub more than any of the other real/better beer bars around town.

I have had my eye on this place for about 6 months. It is out by my inlaws house. Needless to say I rolled in here last weekend while my wife was helping her parents out with a party. Nice find. This is the kind a place I wish was close to my house. Non pretentious but a rocking tap list. This is the kind of place I could go to with my Bud Lite/Miller Lite loving friends. The have about 5 or 6 taps dedicated to Bud/Miller/Coors and the rest are all over the place. One of the main reasons I went was because they had Alpine Nelson on tap which I haven't seen anywhere near me. After downing the Nelson I asked if they had the St Arnold's Bishop Barrel 12 and he told me he didn't think so, but went in the back and came back with one. Served it up at a great price, not gouging like most bars/restaurants are. They do have the occasional cask. Walking into the place it looks like it should reak of smoke, but it doesn't, no smoking allowed inside. 1 large shuffleboard table and a couple of pool tables (I think) and a few dart boards. Great space to spread out in and good atmosphere. The staff is overly friendly and seems to have good rapport with the regulars. I was an outsider and felt right at home. I will be frequenting this place more over the holidays since it is in close proximity to my in laws.

Neighborhood dive/Irish pub with a nice craft list. Also a cool place to check out live Irish rock bands.

They have the best tap list in West Houston. Yes it is not all craft, but there are always a few very interesting things on tap and lots of other very good stuff. The owner is very knowledgeable about craft beer and is more than happy to talk to you about it.
