- A: AnswerYes, something is wrong. My dryer is super quiet and I have not experienced any high pitch sound. This is my second LG dryer of this model. I owned my previous version for 3 years and never had any issues.

- A: AnswerI've had this dryer for 15 months and the light is a convenience but works oddly. When the cycle stops, the light comes on and stays on a few minutes, but not generally long enought to empty the dryer. I fold/hang my clothes as they come out of the dryer so one at a time. If you empty everything all at once into a hamper for example, you'll have no trouble with the light being on long enough. The weird part is that to re-light the light, you have to turn the dryer back on, then hold the "drum light" touchpad for 3 seconds. The light will then come back on for some period of time. Very unintuitive, and unnecessarily cumbersome.

- A: AnswerI am not using the remote feature of this machine. I am using them in the traditional old fashioned way very successfully. This was not a selling point for me as I’m not very good at working these new technologies.

A: AnswerThe model is delivered and installed with the interior of the door facing the left - the door pulls out to right. It can also pull from the top down (partially). - A: AnswerThey make a steam dryer kit that I bought at menards. It's a small hose that attaches to a y and it hooks up to the cold water for your washer. Then 1 hose goes to the dryer and then you take the hose from your washer and hook it up to the other part of the y. It's super easy

- A: AnswerHi, it may be necessary to have a yearly vent appointment by a professional vent cleaner to clean your vents. Before you do this, please be sure to remove all lint from your lint tray first. Behind the dryer, check that the exhaust hose between the dryer and the wall is not crushed, dented, kinked, compressed, or coiled over like a spring . If it is, please resolve this as this may cause the D80 error code. Moreover, please confirm there are no holes in the exhaust hose or loose connections. First new washer/dryer matching set in 15 yrs!
My first brand new dryer with matching washer set in 15 years I am excited :-)! First, huge shout out to Installers Kyrik and Casey. Both of these young men were highly professional, courteous, took extreme care of removing my old set and bringing and setting up my new set despite my laundry room being located on the second floor of my home. Simply wonderful and polite young men which just added to the thrill of my new purchases. I can’t thank Kyrik and Casey enough for yesterday. Both the new washer and dryer set are beautiful inside out and love the super capacity it holds. I can wash more clothes in one wash instead of multiple washes. I haven’t navigated all of the settings just yet and I still need to set up the wifi function along with the LG app. Bye bye white appliances and hello new technology and style. I love that the dryer comes on by itself if it detects the clothes are still damp. To say that I am pleased with this purchase and over all experience is an understatement! Thanks Kyrik and Casey and thanks Best Buy!

Great Dryer
Best Dryer I ever had. I Bosch and GE before but nothing compare to this one, very large and powerful. Lots of feature for delicate, bedding and steam option.

Love my LG
Exceptional performance. Easy to use settings. Has all the bells and whistles we needed. Dries all our items fast and efficiently. Plus, the door opens in two directions. Very handy. We love our new dryer!
