Anthracite Roofing Systems

I got 4 estimates to completely re-do my roof, they came in at the best price. I had previous issues with leaks and they came about 1 week after we agreed to hire them which was great. They finished the roof in about 3 days, cleaned up well and left. Upon inspecting their job, I found that they didn't replace the plywood which had been black from all of the water damage. As I went into my attic to see where the previous leak was I noticed that the plywood now had a hole in it and I could touch the shingles from inside my home. Naturally we were upset that the plywood had not been replaced as it must've been spongy when they were walking on it. We called John and told him about the issue and he swore the plywood was not that bad and he had been up there himself. However, the day they took the shingles off he had left early due to not feeling well and asked me where the nearest wellness center was. Him and I both left my home around the same time, therefore he had never been on my roof or I would have seen him since I was outside with the crew and John left when I did. Nonetheless, he promised to fix it and apologized. After about 2 weeks or so I asked him when he was coming, he said he was very busy with customers who had leaks (which I completely understand having been in the situation myself) and he would come "as soon as he could". John ended up rescheduling us 3 times before he actually came out to finish the job. He cashed our check May 5th and didn't return to finish nearly 2 months later on June 30th. He refused to come to our home to help his crew in fear of being "scolded" by us. He also accused my boyfriend of screaming at him on the phone, which could not have possibly happened since my boyfriend only communicated with him through text up until that point and I was the only one who spoke to him directly on the phone. I felt like I was talking to a child throughout this process and not a businessman at all. A previous review I read stated the same thing, John had to fix something, took him months to come back, and then didn't want to come back in fears of being yelled at by the customer. I wish I would have taken that review into more consideration. To make things worse, he keeps harassing me about the negative review. Totally unprofessional
