Mt. Mitchell Volunteer Fire and Medical was established in 1967. We provide fire protection and medical services to Cabarrus and Rowan counties. We also provide mutual aid to our neighboring fire departments.
We strive to prevent loss of property and life. Each member goes through fire and medical training. Members are NC State Firefighter and EMT certified. Mt. Mitchell Fire and Medical provides the best patient care for our community. We also provide excellent services to the visitors that travel though our district.
