About Me & My Therapeutic Style
Welcome! My name is Jillian and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Washington. I enjoy working with individual adults and teens who are looking for a therapeutic setting to navigate a variety of life’s challenges. My therapeutic style is relational and person-centered. I am warm, authentic, creative and work to facilitate an environment that allows you to feel comfortable and receive the help you are seeking. I believe that my clients are the experts on their own lives and that all people are capable of resiliency, growth and self-exploration.
I practice from an integrated therapeutic approach and utilize a variety of evidenced-based treatment modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, mindfulness techniques, as well as others to meet the needs of each individual client. I specialize in working with those who struggle with anxiety and OCD related disorders, eating disorders, disordered eating and chronic dieting, body image, depression, self esteem, life transitions and personal growth.
I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Sociology, and my Master of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Marquette University. I have experience working in residential eating disorder programs and outpatient group practices where I have provided clinical supervision to associate clinicians. In 2022, I began my own practice to continue serving clients across Washington State.
