Overall Rating
We were really excited to come to the area. There were no reviews on campendium so I went off the website reviews and pictures. First mistake made. We arrived to the park to find it didn't match the pictures. What was once a beautiful area was rundown and more of a boat launch. The website said there was laundry and shower facilities but upon arrival we found there was none. I would have overlooked that if they had the kayak rentals like the website stated. But they didn't have those either which was the whole reason we came here. We booked three days and ended up staying less then 24 hours as their power box blew a breaker that resulted in three of our lights going out. Overall it was a waste of time and money. We don't really need or expect much and this is one of our only bad reviews so that says alot.
We did find out the park was sold about a year ago to a new owner. The previous owner seemed very nice.
