My Grandma was in this care home for 7 years. Although the staff were very caring the managers on the hand were the complete opposite. If you are looking for any good communication regarding your relative I would not recommend this care home. No consideration was made with regards to how far away we lived from Huddersfield.

I would like to thank all the staff working at Jasna Gòra for the unfailing kindness and consideration that they showed my mother during her years there. She was very well-cared for. She enjoyed the tasty Polish food that she herself had cooked all her life, she was able to attend daily masses as she had done when living in her own home. Numerous events were held that she could take part in, she was warm and comfortable and the staff were always available when she had a request. All in all, Jasna Gòra was a home from home and we were reassured and grateful to know that she was in good hands.
For my part I would thoroughly recommend this home.

My Mama lived at Jasna Gora for nearly seven years up to November 2020. During that time, she never had a bad word to say about the home and it’s staff. Without exception, the staff at JG were cheerful, kind and compassionate. The chapel and the daily Mass was a lifeline for Mama, who was deeply religious. She felt at home with the Polish language spoken around her, the Polish food and traditions.
Although the fabric of the residential home is dated, it felt like home and the care given is outstanding. Me and my sisters were so grateful that our Mama was safe, content and in good hands. Thank you to everyone at JG and the five stars I have given are well deserved. Bóg zapłać!

I have worked in a variety of care homes and in a hospital over my nearly fifty years working as care assistant auxiliary nurse support worker and team leader. My overall view of Jasna Gora care home is excellent. A very pleasant welcoming atmosphere staff all work in a professional careing manner.I was pleased and relieved my stepfather was able to receive a placement there it is an ideal placement for him. And I thank all the staff for the care they give him . I have peace of mind in my retirement he is safe and well cared for.THANKYOU .

I would highly recommend this care home. As a health care professional myself, I have visited many care facilities throughout my career, with hand on heart I can honestly say that this is the best care home I have come across. My mother has been a resident for six years and her care has always been excellent. There is great attention to detail, whether this is personal care, dietary/cultural preferences or cleanliness. The care givers are always welcoming and all the residents are always well cared for.

I would definitely not recommend this home if you want to be kept informed about your relative. The ‘management’ are unprofessional, unpleasant and lack basic knowledge which filters through to the rest of the staff. So glad I eventually removed my mum from this place.
