- All students aged 14 years on 31 July for Stream 1 block one Admission, and for stream one block two 14 years of age on 31sr January at the time of Nios’s entry for class 10th, as it is the minimum age for Admission.
- 8th Class fail, or 8th Class qualified students with one year gap can apply for Nios 10th class Admission.

- From 01/03/2024, Nios admission starts again with a late fee of Rs. 700/, and the Nios Admission’s last date with this late fee is 15/03/2024.
After this date, No entry to Nios secondary class 10th or Nios senior secondary class 12th will be accepted for stream 1 Block 2.

- From 16/08/2024, Nios Admission starts again with a late fee of Rs 400/, and the Nios admission’s last date with this late fee is 30/08/2024.
- From 01/09/2024, Nios admission starts again with a late fee of Rs. 700/, and the Nios Admission’s last date with this late fee is 15/09/2024.
After the above date, No admission will be accepted by the Nios board for Classes 10th or 12th.

Documents required for Nios 10th Class
- If Student has any formal schooling, then the school leaving certificate duly countersigned by the education officer with the Complete date of Birth of the Student is required for Nios 10th Class admission.
- If students don’t have formal schooling, then an Aadhar card of the Student with a Complete date of Birth is required for Nios 10th Class Courses. Students without formal qualifications must also submit a self-certificate indicating that they have studied at home and can pursue the Nios 10th Class secondary course.
- If the complete date of Birth is not on the Aadhar card. In that case, the Student then Student have to submit a valid date of birth certificate.
