Player Biography

Rebecca McKenna joined Charlton in July 2023.

Born in Bangor, she began her career at Glentoran before making the move to Linfield in 2017. She enjoyed four productive seasons at the Belfast club as part of the squad that won three straight Northern Irish Women’s Premiership titles, finishing as runners-up in 2021 as well.

She then joined BarclaysWomen’s Championship side Lewes, appearing in every single game across the 2022/23 season before switching to the Addicks at the end of tenure.

McKenna, who is capable of playing in both defence and midfield, is an experienced international and has 21 Northern Ireland caps to her name.
