"What a fabulous day from start to finish. Viv was so lovely and incredibly patient all day, a great relaxed environment. Communication was great from booking to the day. I bought this experience for my sister's birthday gift and was just perfect 👌 would highly recommend this course for a day to remember and lovely jewellery to keep. Easy parking and some great places to eat in the area. The cafe beneath the venue was fab too 👌 "

Viv is a friendly, knowledgeable and patient teacher. If you’re curious too about titanium, I’d definitely recommend this course - have a go... you won’t be disappointed! "

"I had the most fantastic jewellery making experience with Vivien. She is a brilliant teacher who is warm and welcoming, her teaching style was easily adapted to suit my needs and understanding and she offered a flexible session. Her studio is amazing and she worked hard to ensure I had a full understanding of everything I was doing, from the techniques down to explaining all the equipment that was being used. Vivien even followed up by messaging me links to places I could purchase tools from. It was such a fantastic day in which I got to work on 3 separate projects using different techniques, including and incredibly meaningful silver necklace with the thumb prints of my daughters made using casting clay. If you are considering a silversmithing course I would highly recommend Vivien. I am definitely planning to attend another class in the future."

My aim was to understand more of the basics and terminology and get my foot through the door into understanding jewellery making and most of all, would I enjoy it? I thoroughly enjoyed it! "I had such a great day with Viv. I booked on alone and joined a group of 3 others. We had a great day together. Viv explains things clearly and the day starts slow with copper going through the techniques you're learning. At lunch I thought I'd never get the silver rings made but I made 4 rings really quickly as the instructions previously had been so good. I am really pleased with what I've made. Really recommend the course. We had tea and cakes in the studio and there are lots of places for lunch nearby (although you will want to be quick and get on with the fun). The only thing was the studio was cold. It was one of the coldest days in December so to be slightly expected as it is a studio in a fairly old building. Didn't distract from my enjoyment but maybe wait till spring if you feel the cold!!! Viv - thanks so much! "

"We had the best day! My friend and I did the stacking rings workshop and loved every minute. We made 3 bronze rings in the morning and then 2 silver in the afternoon. Viv was so lovely, encouraging and great to talk to. We came away with rings we love and are really proud of. We're already looking at which workshop to do next year with Viv. Also recommend pudding pantry down the road for breakfast and Crimson Tree next door for lunch. "
