Detailed description of the project: 

This Project “Emprende” aims to improve economic independence of women in rural and marginal urban areas, who are in a vulnerable economic situation and who has entrepreneurial potential. The strategy has been defined considering the following approach and dimension:
• The promotion of women's rights, especially the economic rights of women; and the gender equity in economic activity for the economic integration of women
• Promotion of the micro and small enterprises (MYPE), as a favourable space of insertion of women in the productive sphere.
• The territorial dimension of development – and the promotion of local development as strategic expression – when the companies are inserted and are developed in a specific territory with particular competitive potential regarding its resources: human resources, natural resources, financial resources, knowledge transfer,
infrastructure, social capital, etc.
The general objective of the Project which is part of the present Contract is to give support to INAMU and their instances involved in the implementation of the Emprende project, to ensure a smooth coordination, and ensure the monitoring and the technical supervision is done in an effective and efficient way.
The specific aim of this Contract is to provide technical assistance service to support the INAMU in order to achieve the goals and results of the Emprende project.
Results achieved:
• Technical support in the planning, implementation and monitoring of all project ́s activities.
Members of the implementation team, with special emphasis in the Manager and the Accounting, advised in all matters concerning to the technical, methodological and operational aspects in order to achieve the expected objectives and results of the project. The content of the consultant includes operational planning process, implementation and monitoring of administrative and financial procedures.

Services provided by the entity

Support the INAMU in the programming, management and monitoring of Emprende project at both technical and financial level, ensuring the good management of the procedures to follow (Budget-Program) and facilitating the timely achievement of the expected results.
Developing the capacities of technical staff from the institutions involved in the Project, for the effective and efficient execution of the tasks associated with the project ́s objectives.
Providing technical and strategic advice in several fields of specialization connected with the promotion of the MYPE, the economic rights of women and the gender mainstreaming and/or the territorial/local development; and the strengthening of the institutions involved.
Facilitate the coordination of the project with other initiatives in the sector according to the principles established by the Paris Declaration.
