I specialize in trauma, substance use and abuse, depression, self-esteem/self-worth, stress, and relationships. My approach is person-centered, relaxed, and non-judgmental. My treatment method utilizes aspects of trauma informed care, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and experiential therapy. I use techniques from CBT, DBT, and mindfulness and maintain a trauma- informed approach with all clients. I have experience with adolescents and adults in inpatient crisis settings, as well as children and adolescents as a Military Family Life Counselor- in addition to my own experience as a military spouse. I focus on individuals 13 years and older struggling with anxiety, LGBTQIA+ concerns, military- related issues, and women’s issues.
