Rafael Khavis, DDS
Dr. Rafael Khavis graduated from CUNY Brooklyn and then made his way to WNY to attend the prestigious University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. Upon graduating with honors with a concentration in Prosthodontics, Dr. Rafael then chose to stay on to complete the Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) program at the University, where he received further advanced training in placement and restoration of dental implants, grafting and tissue conditioning, esthetic makeovers, root canals, Orthodontics, surgery, and Dental 3D Imaging and Printing.
After Completing the AEGD Program, Dr. Rafael joined the Buffalo Dental school faculty in the Restorative Department, teaching both in the preclinical simulation courses as well as in the pre-doctoral clinic, educating students on how to deliver compassionate and stellar dental care.
Dr. Rafael relocated to the Buckeye state and currently resides in Cleveland, OH, with his wife and three daughters.
When Dr. Rafael is not in the office, he loves spending time with all of his girls, enjoys listening to anything 60’s or 70’s, is constantly learning new things, and is an avid and enthusiastic DIY’er.
“I am constantly trying to learn and better myself to give my absolute best to all the patients I have the privilege of seeing. I believe that the most important aspect of dentistry is the relationship and communication that can and should develop between a doctor and patient. There should always be a dialogue and patients should feel like they are being heard and taken care of. I truly enjoy what I do everyday and feel truly humble that those with dental concerns or that are in need of a dental home entrust me to take care of them.”
