Showing amazing aromatic complexity and textural presence, as well as an electric streak of natural acidity running through its heart that is the hallmark of wines grown on the limestone of the Rorick estate.

All fruit was hand-picked. Verdelho and Vermentino were food-trod before pressing and fermented in open top vessels; the Chardonnay was whole-cluster pressed and fermented in stainless steel. Individual lots were racked and blended together; they remained in a combination of stainless steel and neutral 500L puncheon until being bottled unfined and unfiltered. No new oak was utilized and all fermentations were on native yeast.

Rorick Heritage Vineyards in Calaveras County is comprised of a layer of schist over dolomite-rich limestone.
