I started learning with Chris at the start of February and today I passed my test first time with 1 minor fault, in an area I was not familiar with at all (Tolworth).
At the start I was incredibly nervous but as I worked more and more on following his taught routine and my confidence and ability very quickly grew.
I looked forward to my lessons every week as it was always a good laugh. Chris is very easy to get on with and always up for a chat whilst teaching.
A massive thanks to Chris for all his patience over the whole process. I'm sure I'll hear him shouting "turn apon a turn" in my head every time I take a sharp bend from now on.
So grateful that Chris went above and beyond to ensure that I passed my test. He is competent, a great teacher and friendly instructor. The best!

I lost my licence two years ago but after just 5 hours of lessons Chris got me up to scratch and ready for my test again.
Was given my Mathias number from a friend and thanks to his teaching I passed first time and with only one minor after 16 hours.
Kunj is a fantastic driving instructor who really knows what he's talking about. He puts in a good shift during your lessons to ensure you pick things up and properly understand them. I passed first time thanks to him.

I want to thank Chris for being amazing and for every hour he spent teaching me a skill I know I will use for the rest of my life. I started my driving experience with him and this made passing my test just that much better, knowing that we had been on that journey together. He explained things clearly and helped build my confidence when driving and in life. During every lesson I would receive constructive feedback and in the lessons leading up to my test we would discuss what my weaker areas were and focus on tackling those within the lesson. He really makes the effort to build relationships with his students, and from day one you know he believes in you and your ability to succeed. I’ve now passed my test but I will miss our little chats. I’m proud to say I was his student.

I have to start saying that Chris has been my 4th instructor and the best with a difference!
His way of teaching is amazing, setting up a simple routine that you will always follow to develop good driving skills, creating, therefore, a safe environment to make you feel comfortable and without fear of the road.
I just did 14h of driving lessons (after 2 years without driving, so starting from 0) and passed the exam successfully. He always believes in you and that feeling grows within you.

The best driving instructor I've ever had. Kunj is very professional, patient and will guide you to achieve the best results.
If you notice the examiner marking something on the marking sheet, don't panic! There are other elements of the test that they need to mark, which doesn't mean you have received a recorded fault. They have to mark down when a manoeuvre, hill start, angled moving off, and more is completed.

A classic question is, what happens if you go the wrong way on your test? The answer is not a lot. Just try to do it safely, and you will be fine. Many learners will swerve at short notice, realising they are in the wrong lane and fail for the changing lanes part. If the examiner can see you have time to get into the correct lane, they may repeat the instruction or use hand signals. They won't repeat or re-enforce the direction if it isn't safe or there isn't enough time. You will not receive a driving fault for safely going in the wrong direction on your test.

Yes we do. We have an automatic driving instructor who works part time from 9am to 4pm most days of the week. He has been with the company for over 5 years.
No we don’t. All of our instructors are fully qualified and have a minimum feedback score of 4.5 out 5 too.
Unfortunately, Croydon doesn’t have a test centre so you will need to consider taking your driving test at either Mitcham, Morden or West Wickham. These are the three closest test centres to Croydon.
Regarding waiting times, we recommend you check the DVSA website early Monday mornings, as this is when they release new tests each week. Waiting times have increased since Covid-19. However, the DVSA are actively trying to reduce these waiting times.
This isn't a problem and we welcome your feedback. All you have to do is call us up and if any money is outstanding put it in writing and we can offer you a refund on the remaining lessons or find you an alternative instructor. It’s extremely rare a pupil asks to change instructors with us, but we do understand you can’t please everyone - so we will always do our best to find you an instructor you will like/get along with!
