Patients

We welcome you to our clinics at the Community Health Centre and the Hospital.  Your safety is paramount, so please be assured that we observe strict guidelines in our clinics.

Please read the following carefully.

If you normally have your ears cleared of wax at your GP surgery please contact them. 

If you require any other treatment, please telephone or email us.  Appointments cannot be made in person.

If you need hearing aid batteries or tubing, we can post them to you.  To order please click on the order form below or email direct to rgh-tr.earcarecentre@nhs.net .

We cannot supply batteries and tubing at Rotherham Community Health Centre (RCHC) so, 

PLEASE do not attend RCHC to collect these items.

Please use the online order form above or, alternatively, you can telephone us on either 01709 423207 or 01709 423145. If your call is not answered please leave your name, address, date of birth, telephone number and details what you require and it will be posted to you. 

We will ensure that these are sent out to you. Please allow 10-14 days for delivery.

For all other queries, concerns and appointment booking, again please contact us on the above telephone numbers and leave your name, address, date of birth, telephone number and brief details of your call on the answerphone if your call cannot be answered.

For all NHS hearing aid user we have various drop-in centres offering help and support with your hearing aids, replacement batteries and tubes. Please click on the link for full details - RNID Near You


If you have an appointment at RCHC please do not arrive at the department more than 5 minutes before your appointment time.

Please do not come up to the department unless you have an appointment or you have been asked to do so by a member of staff.

We'll be offering a combination of face-to-face learning, Microsoft Teams, webinars and practical mentoring sessions, including time to talk on a one-to-one basis plus ongoing support.

Some of our courses will follow the usual small group format, combining taught and practical sessions, the latest ear-care health and safety training and on-going support. Some will be virtual. Keep checking the Training Page for up-to-date information.
