Application Information

Spring is just around the corner and so is "Early Birds Golf". Key changes and comments for this year include:

  • Dues will remain unchanged from last year at $150 ($120 for dues and $30 for your escrow no show fund). See Charter & Rules, Section F – No Show Policy.
  • In lieu of sending a check you can Venmo John Milazzo your dues. His account is John-Milazzo-10. Look for his picture to confirm it is him.
  • There are a number of dates on the schedule that need to be confirmed by the courses in the spring. We will notify members as soon as the dates are confirmed.
  • The Scheduling Director will be mixing up the foursomes this year so everyone in the league gets to know and play with all other members.
  • As in the past, the tee listed on the schedule is the default tee for league play (exception is those age 70 and over are assumed to play the forward tees and females the ladies’ tees). Should you wish to play a different tee (either forward or back) you may do so, but you need to be clear on the scorecard that you deviated from the default tee so the Handicap Director can adjust your handicap for points as well as post your score in GHIN under the correct tee.
  • “Winter rules” of lift, clean and place will apply in April and whenever declared at the start of play by a board member due to playing conditions, otherwise “summer rules” of “play it as it lies” apply.
  • Please call-in w/ first & last names for the play/no play and guests. You can email also.

If you would like to "Fly with the Birds" this year, you must complete the attached application and return it with your check to John Milazzo.

The "Early Birds Golf Club" is on the World Handicap System (WHS) providing all members with USGA Handicap and Index.

  • All USGA Rules apply - Handicap Director will post all Early Bird adjusted scores into GHIN. Any member may enter non-Early Bird rounds of play at any "GHIN System" terminal (including internet posting) or provide the cards with the appropriate information to the Handicap Director (full name, date, slope rating, course rating, adjusted score). Scores MUST be entered hole-by-hole as there are new handicapping rules under WHS. If you are currently a member of another club and on the GHIN System your GHIN number will remain the same and both clubs will report your handicap/index.

Feel free to share the website, application (PDF), and rules. We would like to have additional members join the Club.
