Product Information

Billed as "A Christian Action Game," The War in Heaven is designed "to provide Bible-based entertainment to Christians while at the same time introducing non-believers to the eternal truths of the Word of God" (quote from the manual). <br><br>The story predates the dawn of man and focuses on a point of time when Lucifer rebels against the Almighty and is defeated and exiled from Heaven. There, he is destined to rule in Hell until the Tribulation and Final Battle between good and evil. It's at this point that you, playing as either a Devine or Fallen immortal angel, must join the fight.<br><br>Played from a first-person perspective in animated 3D environments, you must choose either the Fallen Path of Power and follow Lucifer in his attempt to storm the gates of Heaven or the Divine Path of Obedience and repel his attempted coup. The War in Heaven features 12 levels of both domains and weapons unique to each side of the conflict such as swords, claws, slings, darts, spears, forks and spells, good and evil.<br><br>The developers state that each level is "designed to educate and illustrate Biblical truth" and justify the choice of the player to play as either an exalted or fallen angel as the "gift of free will" from God. A book of the same title is scheduled for release in the spring of 2000 by the game's designer, Theodore Beale, and will be a fictional account of the spiritual war surrounding the conflict in the game. <br><br>Good or evil -- the choice is yours in The War in Heaven.

    Interesting game. Worthwhile game for the price!

    It's a weird little game but I like it. It has 2 campaigns an angel side and the demon side. I like this game for the nostalgia. Its pretty bad in a critic's way. There are other better games than this one, but this one has a little charm that I love about it.
